Sounds of water dripping and splashing into a bigger body echoed through out the space with Kira laying amongst it, the wet coolness and warmth drew Kira in. slowly regaining her consciousness. little glowing dots and spheres came into view floating about like stars illuminating false skies, the sky was like a mirror of water making her see her self as laid below. part of her body was submerged in the water her hair dancing along with ripples distance made upon the large body, surprisingly she didn't feel soaked.
'where am I' she thought. still admiring the glowing dot and spheres in a daze.
After further contemplation and hesitation, she finally got up. Dry like she wasn't lying on water some seconds ago. She walked
forward and a faint crystalline bud came into view, partially open emitting a dazzling glow as clear translucent liquid rose from within the bud to the tip of its partially opened petals before dropping, forming ripples on the still water below. drawn to its beauty. Kira couldn't help but touch the bud.
The tip of her fingers came into contact, like a soft thin coat, fragile and slightly transparent but sparkled like crystal. responding to her touch gave a soft hum then the partially opened bud gave way opening further, Kira had to retreat so the sheer size of one of its petals won't threaten to squash her.
The petal spread far and wide that some tips of the falling petal made contact with the still water in multiple processions at once, the ripple was massive and chaotic, waves of varying width.
Water began to rise in from below and fall from above like a waterfall at different angles. more of the clear translucent liquid flowed outward onto the water. Before Kira could fully admire what was happening her consciousness began fading fast and her eyes closed.
"Kid, it's best that you go and rest your body with the little spare time given, and tell those other two boys to stop coming here, it's getting crowdy" the healer said, as he relaxed on his chair with a book over his head.
In the healer's tent, Sapphire sat beside Kira's bed, exhaustion etched on his face, bag dark as the night formed under his eye lids. his eyes droopy, closing from time to time but he forced them open, his body really needed rest but he refused still wanting to watch over Kira, Kealor was at his limit and stayed, Nirro stayed that day, him being today. Lucian on the other hand, was withdrawn, closed off more than he used to be. and he didn't know why, they barely left them any space to breathe so they rather use it to gather strength for the next day.
"here, take this while your here, it will relieve some of your fatigue but you still need adequate rest" the healer said, as he threw a small looking seed snapping Sapphire from his thoughts, he caught it and ate it without hesitation, the taste was bland but immediately something washed over him, his body relaxed, the exhaustion had reduced, but his body still craved sleep. on the good side he could stay up a little longer. he thoughts where cut shot when he felt Kira's hand hand twitch within his. his eyes became wide open like sleep wasn't there before. "Kira"
Kira's eyes fluttered open, she heard someone calling her name as she blinked a few more times to remove the hazyness. once she gained clarity, she immediately turned to where her name was being called, Sapphire had weak smile due to his state but his eyes didn't dull.
"How are you feeling?, are you okay? " he asked, Kira nodded her head, the healer walked over immediately, checking her pulse while pouring out some of his power let it flow all round Kira's body as he checked her. soon his brow's were almost merging into a frown, Sapphire noticed the change
"Is something wrong?" Sapphire asked
"Interesting" the healer said intrigued, "I thought he sealed it"
"sealed what?"
"argh!, your spirit power kid, why you acting like you have no idea what your talking about" the healer said, as if frustrated that he was stating the obvious. but he cut shut seeing the questionable looks on Sapphire and Kira's face like they weren't understanding what he said. Realization dawned on the healer " hehe, he didn't tell you" he chuckled,
"Told us what?"
"Nothing" healer said, continuing his examination, done he raised Kira gently so she can sit up.
"Are you still feeling dizzy" the healer asked to Kira responded with a no.
"You were frowning before, is it harmful?" Sapphire kept inquring, before felt a pain on top of his head he couldn't help but massage it. The culprit, the healer was already twitching,
"You ask too many questions and no, it's not harmful, now allow her to eat and sleep, you will see her tomorrow during training and get out of here. I need rest and so do you" the healer said as he walked deeper into the tent leaving Kira and Sapphire alone.
"let me help" Sapphire said, feeding her the rations the healer had left then said goodbye after Kira had eaten and slept off. he returned to his sleeping area, finally allowing his body to recover.
Kira woke up to birds chirping, the healer came out as she rose.
"You're awake, your clothes are on the table" he said pointing at the table not far from the entrance where her clothes were placed upon, go to the dining hall to receive your food then you can meet the others that have begun their training. I advise you not to waste anymore time" he continued before excusing himself.
Kira got up and grabbed her clothes, heading where she would clean and get dressed. Stepping into the dining hall devoid of souls, she walking front towards the place where the food where mostly served from, unsure of what to do, already thinking about skipping food, when a cold voice spoke causing her to jerk at the sudden appearance of the woman who was looking down at her like a predator.
"Are you the child from the healer" the woman said, Kira used all her will power to nod.
"Your food is on the table, don't bother about the wares, eat and leave". then silence, not hearing the womans voice, Kira finally turned around to see if she is still there but
she was gone only the hot tray of food was on the table. Her stomach grumbled, hunger was already speaking. Kira sat down and dove right into eating, finishing up with gruesome soup that threatened to make her vomit all the food she just ate.
