"Oh, Grant, you're here with Zaire," King Cassius acknowledged as he looked at the two warriors who were standing so close like they were part of whatever it was.
Grant looked like this was normal for him, while Zaire was questioning everything he was seeing.
He felt like he was not himself today. Like the kingdom had changed, and he didn't even have it in him to embrace what the conversion of the madness this was.
And it wasn't fair…
To have everything and nothing at the same time.
The king, who was always by his side, was now looking at him like he was just another warrior in the kingdom. Like all of this was not as important, and that horrified Zaire because this was not what he had been hoping for.
