Nour was gone before Zaire even woke up. He hadn't left a note on where he went or even what he was going to do.
Zaire didn't ask any questions, though.
He knew that this was an intense season, and with all that had happened in the weeks of the wedding preparation, he believed that his Erasthai needed some time alone.
Last night, he had heard the prince talk with his father, but he hadn't paid attention out of courtesy.
He didn't want to invade their privacy because he trusted Nour. Perhaps that was why he steered clear of the conversations and muted them, only paying attention when he heard the covers open and Nour settled in right beside him.
And now, Zaire was going to go to the meeting and hoped that Nour came, not that it would ever matter now. Everything was almost done, and today wasn't as important to the arrangements.
