Ryan and Bill walk into the Matador Gymnasium and see multiple martial artists and different dojo's.
"Wow, a lot of competition here."
"Yep. You nervous?"
Ryan sees Ethan and the rest of Cobra kai and gets focused.
"No, sensei."
"That's what I like to hear. Come on, let's change."
The two head into the locker room as Ethan scowls at Ryan. Later, Zack and Oliver find a seat as the announcer starts to speak.
"Welcome everyone, to the fifty fourth annual All Valley Under eighteen karate Championship!"
Everyone starts clapping, except for a confused Zack.
"This has been happening for fifty four years? Am I the only one whose been out of the loop?"
"Yep." Oliver sarcastically answers.
"Ha ha ha, very funny."
Back in the locker room, Ryan is fully dressed in his karate gi. Red, white, and black karate gi, with a wolf on the back, and a black headband with a wolf symbol on the front. He turns to his sensei.
"How do I look?"
Bill smiles.
"Like a dork."
The two laugh at the joke together.
"I think you look great." Emily says from the doorway.
Ryan and Emily smile at each other as Bill feels out of place.
"Hey, I'll see you out there kid."
Bill then leaves the two alone. Emily approaches Ryan, getting really close to him.
"How are you feeling?" Emily asks, tightening his black belt.
"Well, I told sensei I wasn't nervous. I think I was lying a bit."
Emily puts her hands on Ryan's face in reassurance.
"Don't worry. You got this."
The two then share a passionate kiss.
"Now go out there and kick some ass."
"Yes ma'am."
Emily then heads to leave, but tells Ryan something before she does.
"Oh and my family is in the crowd. So you better not suck."
As she walks away, Ryan smiles for a moment, feeling lucky that he has Emily, along with Zack, Oliver, and his sensei by his side. He then closes his eyes and thinks about his mother, as her words echo through his mind.
"Do what makes you happy."
Ryan wipes a tear away and gets a determined look on his face.
"Mom, don't worry. I am happy." He says to himself as he prepares for the fight ahead of him.
