Chapter 5 - Important Business & Arthur's Return

Observing the changes in Arthur, Dorian stood there silently, his arms folded, observing him intently.

He tried to discern if anything bad had happened to him.

Arthur himself felt that something was different, something stirring inside him, making him suddenly feel full of energy.

However, this feeling was short-lived. After it passed, Arthur felt a flood of information flooding into his head.

He felt like his brain was being filled with various knowledge about enchanting and efficient mana usage.

This allowed him to reduce his mana consumption by at least 40% when casting spells, making his spells more efficient than before.

Not only that, he also felt he could write many ancient characters for enchanting, and his understanding of weapons had greatly increased.

"Take it, I know you want to test your weapon mastery." Dorian tossed the sword to Arthur.

The silver glint of the blade gave off a cold, ominous feeling. Arthur slashed the air with the sword and felt his movements become smoother.

"Wow, Lord Dorian, this is amazing. I feel like I can cast spells and use mana more efficiently now. Thank you very much, Lord Dorian." Arthur bowed deeply to Dorian.

"Ah, you don't need to bow like that. After all, you're my customer, and you're paying for this," Dorian stated bluntly.

In Arthur's eyes, Dorian was like a savior. Dorian came and gave Arthur a second chance.

To Arthur, Dorian was his savior, and what Dorian did for him was priceless.

Because besides healing Arthur, Dorian also opened a new door of development for Arthur, who had clearly fallen behind in the practice of spells.

"Even if you don't fight and stick to being an enchanter, I'm sure you'll become rich and famous sooner or later."

Dorian said this to Arthur while looking at several blank grimoires, brushes, and ink.

Arthur, unsure of what to do, finally asked Dorian, "Um, Mr. Dorian, how can I repay you for this kindness?" Arthur asked the savior in front of him.

"Hmm, well, I don't really need your money anyway. How about becoming a sponsor for the Adventurer's Guild?"

Dorian didn't even look back and continued searching for specific items. He moved from side to side, up and down, picking up several items and placing them all in front of Arthur.

"Huh? Sponsor bearer? What do I have to do as a GA sponsor bearer?" Arthur asked Dorian.

"You just need to do a few small things like promoting GA, or you can put the GA logo on your costume or equipment."

Dorian arranged the items in front of him and polished some of them to make them shine even more.

"Everything related to the Adventurer's Guild will bring you intangible, passive benefits, but they are also closely related to your performance."

Dorian only looked at Arthur for a moment before continuing.

"Well, but you don't need to be too nervous because I know your lack of experience. I've prepared a few things. Take a look."

Arthur just realized that the items in front of him were items Dorian had prepared especially for him.

Dorian himself hadn't prepared much. He only gave him some focus potions, a brush, a blank grimoire, and some fusion ink. Arthur

"Mr. Dorian, this is too much, I don't-"

"Shhh, shh, you don't have to say anything, Arthur. This is my decision. You just need to train. Go home, Arthur, and understand your new powers," Dorian interrupted.

"Mr. Dorian... Could it be that you're gay?" Arthur pulled away from Dorian and asked, slightly skeptical.

"You damn brat!" Dorian moved very quickly and hit Arthur hard on the head.

BANG!

"Who are you calling a homosexual, you stinky brat? I'm perfectly normal, just so you know!"

Dorian playfully grabbed Arthur's collar, yanking him back and forth before throwing him into the front courtyard of the Main Hall.

"Go home and train hard, sponsor brat!"

Arthur was sent flying by Dorian, his body sweeping across the courtyard.

"Sir, this is bullying! It's forbidden!"

Arthur, in pain, could only groan and walk out of the Main Hall with steady steps, signaling the beginning of a new change for both Dorian and Arthur.

After Dorian's departure, nothing much happened at the Adventurer's Guild. The day and night passed as usual when suddenly a group of men dressed simply and looking a little shabby entered the main hall.

KLIIIING!

The sound of bells echoed through the spacious room, signaling Dorian that his guild had received several visitors.

These five people from outside looked embarrassed, perhaps because of their shabby clothes or something else.

Upon entering the room, the five of them were amazed by the grandeur of the Adventurer's Guild's main hall.

"Ah! Look, my guild has some guests. Ladies and gentlemen, customers, come in, don't be shy."

Dorian bowed his head to them and asked, "Can I help you?"

Then a small man stepped forward and said to Dorian, "Sir, we're here to discuss business." Although he spoke seriously, his accent, accent, and voice made the small man seem incredibly cute and adorable.

"Damn the worldly cuteness! I can't stand it! Aaaaaaah, I'm going to melt from this cuteness!"

Dorian smiled and said, "Alright, customers, please come this way."

Dorian led the way and invited his guests into a side hall where they could more freely discuss business or just chat.

"So, does anyone want to order anything?" Dorian asked with a friendly smile as he wiped the glasses, which were clearly clean.

They looked at each other before finally deciding to chip in and order the most affordable meal on the menu.

The youngest finally spoke to Dorian, "Ah, yes, sir, I'd like to order a portion of fried rice." He handed Dorian his money with an awkward smile. This, of course, didn't escape Dorian's notice.

Dorian took the money and walked towards the kitchen. A portion of fried rice for each of you was soon on its way.

"Ian, did you say one for each person, not one portion?" Ian, the youngest, shook his head and replied.

"No, sir, I clearly told him only one portion." Ian himself was very nervous at this point.

"Guys, just sit down or look around and wait for the food to cook."

Dorian looked back and smiled at Ian's group, then continued cooking the fried rice.

"Don't worry about paying for everything. For now, just consider it the guild leader's generosity to his guests."

Ian and his group finally felt relieved and began to look around. Only now did they realize what was around them.

This was the cleanest place they had ever seen in their lives. Ian, the youngest, thought the items displayed on every wall in this room were very cool.

He was so caught up in looking at each item that he didn't even notice the five portions of fried rice Dorian had been cooking were ready to be served.

Before the five of them was a plate of fried rice with a shiny sunny-side-up egg on top. The menu was so tempting that they forgot their original purpose and went all out just to enjoy the meal before them.

"Wow, it's so delicious! I haven't had food this delicious in almost 10 years! It would be even better with a glass of beer!"

A woman in her 20s exclaimed loudly.

"Anastasya, I know you enjoyed the food, but mind your manners in front of the leader of this place."

The oldest man there reminded Anastasia earnestly.

"Oh, old man Edward, you're too serious! Try to relax a little... Even the guild owner isn't angry, am I right, Master Dorian?"

Anastasya said what she wanted to say without stopping to eat her fried rice. Edward, irritated by what she said, clenched his fist and hit Anastasya's head.

"Who did you call old, you stinky brat? Say that one more time, and I'll knock your shrimp head off with my own fist."

The others, seeing this, immediately screamed and began throwing themselves at Edward.

"Princess Anastasia has angered Old Man Edward again. Don't let him go crazy, everyone! Hold him back with everything, even if it's your lives at stake."

Ian stood on his stool, pointed at Old Man Edward, and shouted, "Maintain formation and don't let Old Man Edward take a single step... attack squad!"

"UWWOOOOOOOOH!" "For our glory!"

Ian, who was clearly still a child, commanded the two remaining men as if he were a commander ordering his soldiers.

Dorian, who had finished serving the fried rice, simply laughed and stood at the bar nearby, watching their antics.

"Come on, Edward, don't make a fuss. We came here to do that, remember? That important task of the leader."

Edward, who had managed to grab Anastasya's head, finally regained his composure and stared at Dorian dumbly.

"Ah, that's why we came here!" Edward clapped his fist against his other hand as if inspired. about something

The other four could only slap their foreheads and wonder how someone as stupid as Edward could lead this important expedition.

"So, Mr. Dorian, we have something important to discuss... This is important business."

"Ho!" Dorian stopped wiping his glass and smiled at Edward with a mysterious smile.
