t was dawn when Anna and Tom left for the airport, heading back to the Philippines.
Anna sat by the window seat, while Tom sat beside her.
The flight lasted four hours.
Anna kept herself occupied by watching movies and sleeping. She still chose to ignore him.
Tom didn't push her.
He simply let the silence sit between them.
After a few hours, they arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
David was already there to pick them up.
Inside the car, Anna quietly looked out the window, taking in the familiar smell of Manila and the heavy traffic she once found annoying—but now felt comforting.
Tom gently poked her arm.
"If you're still going to ignore me," he said softly, "please at least pretend we're okay in front of my family."
Anna frowned and narrowed her eyes.
She heard him clearly, but didn't answer.
Instead, she rolled her eyes and looked away.
When they arrived, Chairman Yang and the entire family welcomed them warmly.
