After she accompanied Felip and Gabriella, Simione had to drop off some books at the university library. The law school library wasn't necessarily packed with students, especially because midterms had just swept through them, and a lot of them were probably traumatized by the exams. Good thing there was a class break for a few days, so everyone had time to gather themselves. Perhaps after a week, the library would become as enthusiastic as it had been in the past.
When Simione handed the books to the librarian, the middle-aged woman accepted them with a smile but had the girl wait at the counter for a while as she signed some paperwork and made sure the books were marked as returned. Simione didn't mind the wait. She wasn't in a hurry anyway, but a force pulled her to her favorite space in the library, so she turned her head to look at a spot in the corner and got lost for a moment.
