To compensate, many Necron Tomb Worlds are shielded from Psychic disturbance by vast Null Field Matrices.
Developed during the War in Heaven, these networks of Anti-Psychic Field emitters generate an unknown energy field that destabilises a Psyker's connection to the Warp, rendering him unable to utilise his full power.
Similarly, Daemons of the Chaos in the presence of Null Field Matrices have a tendency to flicker in and out of existence, as if unable to maintain a solid foothold in reality. It was the most effective technology that anyone has ever created against the denizens of the Warp and Psykers generally.
A Null Field Matrix requires incredible amounts of power to function properly and is a fragile device that must be hidden away at a Tomb World's very heart to prevent its destruction.
Nonetheless, they stand as testaments to their ability to create a technological defence against any form of attack, no matter its genesis. The Anti-Psyker Knight Mechs had even more significant problems when it came to powering them up, because the technology was far from perfect.
This was something that not even Necrons solved perfectly, most probably, much less the Terran Federation, which was basing its Anti-Psyker Knight Mech on the incomplete knowledge of the Necrons that they obtained, or some half-destroyed or damaged Null Field Matrixes.
After observing Esdeath and the Anti-Psyker Mech for some time, she ended the fight against the Anti-Psyker Knight Mech and went straight to me.
"So, when are we going to the Webway? It's getting boring here fighting against this scrap of machinery..."
Esdeath already started complaining because she was, in fact, a very active person who needed to do something. She wasn't like she could just drop somewhere, read books, or laze around, because she needed to do something.
Even though the Anti-Psyker Knight Mech was being controlled by one of the subprograms created by the Architect's clone program on the Executor-class Super Star Destroyer Dreadnought.
This increased the efficiency of the Mech by several times over.
When the Anti-Psyker Knight Mech was controlled by a powerful AI, its efficiency was much higher than it would normally be compared to the state when it operated on its own base.
"There is a slight change of plans... I am going to push this body to Tier 11, and afterwards, I will assimilate the power of my True Body that I have infused into this Avatar. Theoretically, this should push my Avatar to the standards of the Tier 12 in the Endless Void Tiering System."
I explained to Esdeath that this was the safest approach we could take in the current situation. Tier 12 should be the approximate level of the geniue Warp Gods like the Aeldari Gods or the Orkish Gods.
The more I studied the Warp and the Chaos Gods, their true power within the Warp should be Tier 13... and not just any Tier 13, but either on the level of the Divine Throne at the minimum, but most probably around the degree of the Universe Master.
Which meant that every single Chaos God was as strong as my True Body, which was really dangerous. Since this revelation, or rather, since this speculation, I was very reluctant to do anything with the Immaterium unless I was equally strong.
Even though this was just Avatar...
If a powerful Tier 13 entity got their hands on this Avatar, they would be able to track the connection between the Avatar and the True Body, possibly even locating the Kadath Universe and gods know what else.
It was rather dangerous.
The only saving grace was that, according to all signs and knowledge on the Immaterium, the Chaos Gods were Imperfect Universe Masters, as they cannot leave the Immaterium due to their strong connection ot the Warp.
While at the same time, they were even more impossible to kill and dispose of.
"How long would it take you to reach that realm?"
Esdeath asked because the prospect of being confined even longer on the Executor-class Super Star Destroyer Dreadnought was certainly even more taxing than one would have imagined.
But at the same time, she knew that if I elevated my Avatar to Tier 12, I would be able to elevate her own power to a higher degree. Especially her Super Danger Beast Bloodline and the Super Danger Beast Bloodline of the entire Partas Tribe to a higher level, which was a pretty good prospect for her.
Not to mention, we already spoke about the prospective relocation of the Partas Tribe to the Kadath Universe, as that place was far more suitable for the Partas Tribe to thrive than here.
"I don't know... maximally a week or so... I already have everything that I may need to push my Avatar body to the Tier 11, and the subsequent assimilation of the thing that my True Body inserted into my Avatar is a rather simple thing, as the entire sublimation shouldn't take longer than a few days."
I said that because everything was already prepared.
According to my calculations, this Avatar was already prepared to be pushed into the realms of the Tier 11; the only thing that was needed was a very specific ritual to activate my presence within the Warp, so this Avatar would become something akin to a Lesser Warp God at the end of the entire process.
Rather dangerous play.
But necessary.
The thing that my True Body put into this Avatar was so overwhelmingly powerful that if I tried to do it with the current state of my Avatar, it would be destroyed in a split second.
The distance between the Tier 11 and Tier 12 was almost impossible to explain... because it was staggering. Just a mere whisper of a Tier 12 entity was enough to crush hundreds of the peak Tier 11s under the standart circumstances.
Thus, the need to reach Tier 11 was justified.
If possible, I would try to push this Avatar to the peak of Tier 11.
