In the end, under Esdeath's oversight and my advice, everything was running smoothly, and there were not many problems when it came to transporting all of the crucial items back to the Icecrown Citadel.
Soon enough, everything was being loaded onto the armored transport vehicles and brought back to the Partas Tribe. The weapons of the Frozen Coven were deconstructed and also brought back, and this entire place was being stripped clean.
From what I heard the moment training of the new Psykers of the Partas Tribe with the legacy of the Frozen Coven was finished, the Patriarch Ezran Partas planned to launch a crusade against the coalition of the Northern Tribe and especially the Numa Tribe and bring them down to hell.
With that being done, the Partas Tribe would have unified the entire Northern Area of the Fenran Continent. Due to the information that I gave them about the unnamed and uninhabited continent where I came from, they were preparing to send there a few expeditions for resources.
Right now, there was no time to find the conflict with the Southern Area and its factions, as there was nothing much to gain from such engagement. Ezran Partas has decided to bide his time, and he had a lot of it.
Due to the lineage of the Dnager Beasts in their bodies, the Partas Tribesmen could live far longer than the average humans, and living for a few centuries, even for the weakest of them, wasn't much of a problem.
At the same time, I wondered a bit how strong they would be once they obtained and comprehended the proper Psyker Legacy from the Frozen Coven. Right now, they were constrained by that, and the connection they had to Immaterium was rather wasted on the Partas Tribesmen.
"We are departing back to the Icecrown Citadel."
During the past few days, I have been helping Esdeath with her duties as governor of the occupation force, and we have been going through everything together. She was rather quick to learn from me and my thousands of years worth of experience in this area.
Though she still lacked the patience for the more subtle areas of the political arts that would come with time.
"Finally... I can finish my research on the Psyker Gene once we return back."
Due to the siege on the Frozen Coven, I had far more test subjects than I could ask for, whether living or dead. Every single one of them would find a purpose in my laboratory, and with many examples, I can finish the research and create Psyker Gene for this avatar body.
'Architect's calculations are almost done; if everything that has been researched till now is true, then we can have a complete, stable Psyker Gene prototype done in two months or perhaps three months... implementation in this body would be a bit longer; but due to the superior quality and aptitude as it was created by Primarch and Universe Master, it should adapt seamlessly.'
With the Psyker Gene I could start my plans for the Immaterium and obtaining even greater degree of power. Considering the situation in the Immaterius Universe, where, according to the information I gathered and experiences of my past life, every one of considerable power was either Psyker or used Psychic Energy on the subconscious level like the Greenskins.
Even though their Warbosses couldn't use the Psyker Powers and Psychic Energy consciously, they were still foes to be reckoned with because they were using the raw power of the Immaterium on the subconscious level.
Without access to the Immaterium, there were not many ways of growing powerful, if there were any. Obviously, I was talking about the big leagues, above Tier 8 in terms of destructive capabilities.
"Could your research also be applied to the Partas Tribe?"
During the time I spent in the Partas Tribe I was investing more and more resources and time than I would have liked. Either, it was from my rather soft spot for Esdeath, who was my sole companion during this journey, or from the potential their people had.
Part of me was even considering taking them all back to the Kadath Universe and giving them some High World to subjugate and rule. Their bunch was useful; they were ruthless and strived for perfection in everything they were doing, especially in Hunting, Fighting and War.
Those were their priorities...
They would be a good addition to the Kadath Universe when we would be visible to the other Universes and when the Universal Wars will start.
Still, taking them back with me would be rather problematic, but hopefully, once this avatar of mine reaches Tier 11, I will be able to contact the main body and, establish connections and create some method.
Maybe Ajuka and Mephisto would have some solutions for the predicament because this was an area where brute force shouldn't be used. The Universe Will of the Immaterius Universe was very much active and even more potent than it was active.
It should be capable of fighting and killing even Tier 13 entities if it was pushed to the limits, so I wanted to avoid confrontation with the Universe Will if it was possible.
"Most possibly, but that would require further research and adjustment to the procedure, which would delay my, or rather our departure from the planet."
As I said that, it was clear that she was torn between helping her Tribe, because no matter how cold or ruthless she seemed, Esdeath genuinely cared about the Partas Tribe and her Tribesmen, and eloping with me to the stars.
"Then we shall wait... There is enough time and strength for the Tribe, first and foremost."
I would be lying if I said that I was confident that she would answer like this... it was rather mature for her. Initially, there was a specific part of me that would tell me that adventuring into the stars in search of powerful foes had precedence over everything else.
"That was rather mature from you..."
Seeing the frown on her face was something that I should have probably left to myself.
