In the vast cosmos outside of the Divine Realm, universal laws surged and raged like tidal waves, tearing apart space itself.
The battlefield was unlike anything mortals could ever comprehend; it was like a canvas of fractured constellations, shattered planets drifting like corpses in a sea of stars, and space-time distortions scattered throughout the void.
In the vast expanse of space where air was non-existent, a deep voice could be heard.
"Destruction Sword!"
Suddenly, dense purple-black destruction intent was condensed into a colossal sword that seemed to dwarfed the sun. It pointed down at a lone figure suspended in space.
He was nonchalant and didn't spare a glance towards the huge sword hung over his head.
He was a slim man with long flowing white hair reaching his lower back and wore black tattered robes that showed his unexpectedly muscular physique as if the Gods had sculpted him. His horns curved upward like a crown above his head, like a true Ōtsutsuki, his skin was as white as unblemished jade, flawless and cold.
He had a Byakugan in his right eye, his other eye was of strange dark-ink color with the pupil entirely white, and a Rinnegan which opened vertically on his forehead.
The God King of the Ōtsutsuki Clan, God of Transformation, Shibai Ōtsutsuki.
"Boundless Vitality." A soft melodious voice sounded as a radiant emerald light shone around Shibai, so vibrant it forced even destroyed planets to shimmer faintly as though given new life.
Countless thick green vines coiled around the expressionless Shibai, their emerald glow piercing into his flawless skin. The universal law of Life flooded his body, pouring in endlessly like an ocean into a vessel that refused to overflow. For an instant, he stood eerily still, his white hair swaying crazily.
Life Force was the foundation of immortality, the dream of mortals and Gods alike. In measured balance, it could heal wounds, prolong existence, and defy even time itself.
But when forced beyond limit, when infused in excess, it became poison. Muscles would rupture from uncontrollable regeneration, divine consciousness would drown in an unending tide of vitality, and a God's Divine Core itself would bloat and collapse.
Shibai's skin glowed faintly green as the vines pumped more and more life energy into him. His aura wavered for the first time, the space around him trembling under the clash of Destruction and Life; the colossal Destruction Sword fell on him.
The collision between Destruction and Life shook the firmament of the cosmos itself.
It wasn't the end however, as two bursts of intense light like towers of babel appeared accompanied with scorching hellish heat from above from where Shibai's location.
Two voices resounded,
""Yin and Yang Fusion!""
Two towering fireballs, one white and the other black, emitting energies similar to Life and Death was released. They merge with each other and turn into a black and white fiery ball of light about one kilometer in diameter, falling down like a meteor.
It doesn't have a strong aura and looks like an ordinary ball of light, but it produces an unprecedented sense of fear in the heart of many witnessing the moment it fell.
Destruction, Life, Evil, and Kindness—the strongest attacks of the Four of the Five God Kings of the Divine Realm struck through as their combined attacks converged, their laws clashing and yet harmonizing in dreadful unity.
They were fragments of the Creation God, once one of the strongest existence in the universe. Their combined attack was certainly unprecedented.
Space folded inward like a crumbling tapestry; time itself slowed, then fractured into shimmering shards as though unwilling to proceed into the next moment.
A silence fell over the battlefield.
And then—
BOOM!
The collision birthed a cataclysm that erased light, swallowed sound, and folded countless layers of space from the first dimension to the fourth.
Reality collapsed into itself, like parchment being crumpled and torn apart. Entire star systems vanishing in silence as they were shredded into conceptual dust.
The impact zone became a hollow wound in the universe— a gaping void that even laws refused to touch. Its edges shimmered with chaotic fragments of the universe's laws, but within, there was nothing. No light, no sound, no motion.
Just the absence of all things.
"...Did we get him this time?" A voice said, caution and exhaustion evident in his tone.
He was a handsome young man wearing a black robe with short black hair, with a strange bone-like ornament over the right side of his head. In his eyes, there seems to be orange flames burning. He emits a faint evil aura.
He was the second generation God of Evil, Ji Dong!
"He's gotta be dead. We've thrown almost all of our strongest attacks at him! He's freakishly strong, but not to the point of being invincible. I mean, he would've already killed at least one of us already. He's just insanely tenacious just like the rest of his kind."
A woman wearing a white robe with long fiery red hair scattered behind her gulped. "Just like the rest of his kind... Don't tell me he's coming back again just like them?!"
She was the second generation Goddess of Kindness, Lie Yan, Ji Dong's wife.
Ji Dong's face twitched, shaking his head in disbelief. "That can't be... It can't be possible for someone to endlessly reincarnate like that, even for a God King! We've killed him and other of his kind numerous times, it should be enough or at the very least made them reach a sort of limit that they would retreat."
He turned to the side and said, "Hey Destruction, please tell me you've figure out something. Because we're seriously running on fumes here. Is this what it was like fighting the Dragon God back in your time?"
"....Something feels off." Said with a deep voice by the God of Destruction, Hui Mie.
He appeared to be in his thirties wearing a dark purple cloak with eerie eroded chains around it. He had short, silver hair, which was standing up like steel needles. He had a pair of deep purple eyes, radiating pure destruction.
"Sheng Ming, do you feel it as well?"
"Mm. I can feel his breath of life still." A beautiful woman floated besides him, who looked like the definition of the Goddess of Life. She possessed a pair of brilliant green eyes and long brown hair, a green flower decorating on the side.
She wore a long light green dress, full of life, she wore a faint smile on her face, was an outstanding beauty with soft appearance, absolutely breathtaking. A faint golden halo, which was full of vitality, covered up her face. Her appearance was unforgettable, making people want to get closer.
The Goddess of Life, Sheng Ming, Hui Mie's wife.
The four God Kings tensed up, their respective divine core pulsed and started circulating divine power throughout their body.
From within the void in which resulted from their combined attacks, a faint tremor pulsed outward, like a heartbeat.
*Thump* *Thump* *Thump*
Hui Mie narrowed his eyes, destruction intent exuded intensely from his eyes.
"Where's Tang San? We need to use the Three Realms Judgement Sword once more."
"Is he still at the enemy's divine realm? Considering senior Tang San's abilities, only the outer God called Shibai or a formation of several 1st Class Gods could trap him." Lie Yan said with a worried tone.
"The latter method seems feasible considering their methods, hun."
Ji Dong clenched his fists and added, "Should I go get senior Tang San? Getting rid of their God King is more crucial, and I'm sure he's already gotten some information about their divine realm."
Sheng Ming tilted her head to the side, sensing a familiar life aura.
"Wait. It looks like we don't have to worry about him. Tang San's coming here, and fast!"
Hearing her words, they turned their heads and with their god-like sight saw a familiar figure speeding towards them from a far away distance.
It was the fifth God King of their Divine Realm, and a legendary figure of his homeworld of the Douluo Star, Tang San.
However, unlike his usual tranquil and righteous demeanor as the Sea God, now he looked completely like the opposite! His long, flowing pale-white hair fluttered like threads of divine silk, his body exuding a chilling, killing aura.
His robes, once deep blue like the vast ocean, were now drenched in a pale silver light embroiled with blood-red, embodying hell's slaughter.
In his right hand is a giant blood red colored sword of more than two meters long. The slender and broad sword is covered with dark golden demonic patterns, radiating extremely fierce killing aura. Its body exudes an indescribable sense of oppression and a sort of coldness; it's not the coldness of the cold, but the coldness of judging for justice.
Tang San is well known as the Sea God in his mortal homeworld, but it was only a 1st Class God seat and he couldn't possibly stand equal with the God Kings of the Divine Realm.
He was an unprecedented dual-God! He holds two divine seats of power; one was the 1st Class; Sea God and the other was the terrifying and respected God King; Asura God!
Lie Yan's shoulders dropped in relief. The others relaxing upon seeing Tang San and without any visible injuries on him. "You're okay! Oh, thank the heavens. I thought you got captured by the enemy or something like that."
Hui Mie focused his gaze on Tang San, especially his strange expression.
'Why does the Sea God looks so flustered? Did he find something so terrible in the enemy's divine realm? What could it be?'
But what came out of Tang San's mouth next stunned not just Hui Mie, but also the others.
"What the heck... What are you people doing?!" Tang San yelled, his eyes wide in fury and horror, his voice transmitting clear into their ears.
Then, in an instant, their surroundings had changed.
And yet, nothing seemed to have changed.
That was until they calculated the stars and the planets...
"Ah. Ah! AHHHHHH!!" Ji Dong's scream tore out of him like a man being ripped apart. His flaming eyes widened, reflecting a sight too cruel to believe.
Lie Yan staggered back, her hands clamping over her mouth as tears poured down her face, sorrow so deep it pierced the marrow of her soul.
It was like a piece of cloth was peeled away, revealing the truth right before them.
The void they had been bombarding with the combined might of four God Kings... was where their mortal homeworld.
The Five Elements World: the land that birthed them, the world of their people, their loved ones, their origin— was split, shattered, and scorched into mere rubble under their very own divine hands.
Then, in the infinite expanse of space and time, a cold deep voice was heard.
"Hmph. How utterly amusing. To think even someone of your level could still feel... attachment to such a fragile speck of dirt. Laughable!"
"Guak!"
"Tang San!" Ji Dong and the others yelled as a pale white arm pierces through Tang San's sternum.
Tang San with bloodshot eyes glared behind him. "Y-You bastard...! What kind of man stabs someone from behind?!" Without waiting for a response, he swung the Asura Sword in his hand and sliced off the arm from behind him and quickly teleported beside the other God Kings.
Hui Mie grabbed the arm stuck in Tang San chest and yanked it out without a word, immediately using destruction intent to destroy the arm. Sheng Ming quickly started healing Tang San.
Space before the five God Kings unfolded like torn silk, threads of reality peeling apart to reveal a dark rift.
From within and taking a step forward was Shibai Ōtsutsuki, his tattered black robes drifting in the void as if there was a breeze. His left arm was destroyed, yet not a drop of blood was seen.
His eerie left black eye pulsed slowly.
"You call yourselves Gods, yet you still cling to mortal bonds. Tell me, what difference is there between you and the insects beneath our feet?"
He place his right hand over his ruined arm and it quickly regenerated back! He spread his arms apart, a calm and serene smile on his lips.
"Do not mistake me for a foe you can measure. Against me... you are children, smashing your own toys in tantrum.
Life, Death, Space, Time, Reality... I lay claim over such Laws, for that is my divine right!
Hear my words and engrave it in your hearts until it beats its last!
I am Shibai Ōtsutsuki! The Supreme God of Transformation of the Ōtsutsuki Clan!
I am your judge, your executioner, and.... your new master."
❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
Boruto sucks. But damn, the whole alien Ōtsutsuki plot does work in a situation like this.
