The Triplet Alphas' Regret

saltedpepper
“For years I have tried to tell you I was innocent, and what did you do?” “Briar, please,” Cassian tried to say. “It’s not like that―” “Like what?” I spat. “Not like you’ve tormented me my whole life? Not like you’ve used me and tried to have me killed?” “There was a reason for it,” Rowan tried to say. His eyebrows were furrowed together tightly as he took a step forward. He reached for my hand, and I quickly stepped back. Hurt flashed across his eyes. “We didn’t know―” “Of course you didn’t,” I said with a humorless laugh. “All you did was listen to the lies Violet told you. Even though I am your fated mate, you’ve ignored all my pleas to just listen to what I had to say.” “Briar, please listen to us,” Soren said. His eyes were red with desperation. “Please give us another chance.” “No,” I said, shaking my head. “I’m done waiting. I’m done hurting.” I met their gaze, mustering all the strength I had. I ignored the way their mark on my neck burned in protest. “You’ve made your bed,” I said. “Now it’s time to lie in it.” *** Briar Argyris was born into power, the youngest daughter of the revered Beta family of the Shadowclaw Pack―until the day she vanished. Kidnapped as a child and presumed dead, Briar returned years later, broken and bloodied at the border of her homeland. But her family had already moved on. Her sister, Willow, had grown into a prodigal daughter. As such, there was no room for the forgotten daughter. From the moment she came home, Briar was treated like a curse. Her presence seemed to poison Willow, and as such, Briar was forced to stay far away from her―in the omegas’ quarters. When Willow supposedly died, Briar's fate was sealed. The pack believed she was the murderer, and no one was willing to listen to her pleas. Until the Moon Goddess intervened. Right before her execution―her 18th birthday―Briar's destiny was revealed. She was the fated mate of not one, but three Alphas. Rowan. Soren. Cassian Hadeon. Childhood friends of Willow. Heirs of the Shadowclaw Pack. And her greatest tormentors. They wanted nothing to do with her―convinced she had destroyed the girl they loved, and fueled by the lies of Violet, Willow’s best friend. To them, Briar was nothing but a cruel joke of fate. Trapped in a bond she didn’t choose, hated by the men fate bound her to, Briar is determined to survive―even if her heart shatters in the process. Because the truth is still buried. And when it finally surfaces, the Alphas will learn that the girl they rejected is not only their true mate―she’s the key to everything they thought they lost. But will Briar still want them back after everything they've done? After all, the moon shines brighter outside the Shadowclaw Pack. Just because the triplets are dumb enough to let their fated mate go, doesn't mean that others will do the same... *** Updates 2-4 times a week for the month of April. Daily updates starting in May. Clumsy Beast, Keep Your Paws Off

Su Qinglan sat cross-legged on the grass, holding the chubbiest tiger cub she’d ever seen. “Aww… Look at you,” she whispered, booping its tiny nose. “So cute I could eat you up...” A sudden shadow loomed over her. “What’s so good about this stinky cub?” a deep, amused voice asked. She blinked up… and froze. Towering above her was a tall tiger beast man, his golden eyes narrowed in a lazy, predatory smile. “Let’s have ours,” he said. Su Qinglan’s brain short-circuited. … Ours? OURS?! Before she could process, in the next moment she was hoisted up onto his broad shoulder like a sack of grain and carried straight toward the cave. Su Qinglan was so choked by the suddenness of it all… she forgot to even complain. *** Su Qinglan’s knees knocked together as she stared up at the enormous serpent. Its cold, red eyes narrowed, the flick of its tongue tasting the air between them. “D-Don’t eat me,” she stammered, hugging herself. “I...I’m not tasty… really, I’m stringy and full of… uh… bad cholesterol.” The snake’s head lowered until it was mere inches from her face. Her fox ears twitched wildly. And then, before she could blink...its massive body shimmered, scales turning into bronzed skin and lean muscle. Standing before her was a man so breathtakingly handsome that Su Qinglan’s poor fox eyes watered just looking at him. Su Qinglan swallowed hard, her tail fluffing up in panic. “I… I…” Her voice cracked. Okay, new problem… the snake is hot. She squeezed her eyes shut. “If you… if you really want…” She blurted, her face burning, “…y-you can… take me.” *** One moment Su Qinglan was fighting with the zombie king with all her might. Boom! The next, she woke up in a bizarre beast world… inside the body of a lazy, pampered, fat local tyrant everyone hated. The “original” Su Qinglan had been an arrogant, scheming villainess who spent her days bullying weaker beast women, chasing after handsome males, and terrorizing the tribe kids. Now, thanks to fate’s twisted sense of humor, Qinglan had inherited the body and the bad reputation. But honestly? Being fat in a beast world was still better than starving in the apocalypse. At least here, she could eat. The only problem? In this world, men weren’t just men, they were beastmen. Tall, strong, dangerous… And apparently, every beast woman was expected to have several husbands. The catch? The “original” Qinglan’s antics had scared away every decent male within a ten-mile radius. Armed with her apocalyptic survival instincts, a sharp tongue, and a mysterious system that suddenly activated... "Binding with host…" "Congratulations, host, for successfully arriving in the beast world." Qinglan decided she wasn’t going to cry about fate. If she had to live here, then she’d live big, literally.

Earth's Magical Civilization

Earth is in danger. Demon Lord Shakurri is on the verge of ascending to a Demon King, and as fate would have it, he discovered the coordinates to a dimension called Earth, which contained a vast number of souls required to devour. Luckily for the Earthlings, someone activated an ancient law written in the very fabric of the cosmos: Dimension Law 9ZP3, the Law of Fair Resistance. As such, a neutral faction called the Dimensional Tower was hired to prepare the Earthlings for this upcoming invasion. Zane K. Skylar — a second-generation Ghanaian American who is down on his luck — became part of the first group of chosen Earthlings to prepare for the resistance. His journey, along with many others, will result in either a pointless struggle of a fated-to-be-destroyed world or a legendary tale that will elevate Earth into one of the most brilliant magical civilizations in the infinite dimensions. What to expect: Great power systems, multiple power systems, Magic Innovation, Magic Experiments, Dimension Hopping, Multiple Civilizations, Kingdom Buildings (not in the early stages), Geopolitics, and Late Romance. Anyone who enjoyed the world-building and lore from my former fanfics will enjoy this story. Warnings: This is a Late Romance. Zane will have multiple partners before he settles down with his soul mate. This story takes place in the modern setting, and I will touch upon social issues. Certain modern events will also appear in the story. Inspiration: Overlord, DND, Tower Manhwas. *If the owner of the cover picture wishes me to take it down, comment in one of the chapters and I will do so.
