Wizard Hunters

Eight years ago, magic destroyed a city. The Red Night erased New Dawn from the map, left eight races traumatized—and proved, beyond any doubt, that unchecked mages were an existential threat. In a single night, a Celestial was slain, the Sentinels were nearly exterminated, and humanity lost its last illusion of safety. Aedran survived. Once the most effective mage-killer in the Guard, he is now a broken lieutenant: an alcoholic, cynical, openly insubordinate man who has done everything possible to disgrace the uniform he still wears. He has no grand ambitions, no faith in redemption—only an obsessive need to ensure that the Red Night never happens again. When the Celestials order the systematic hunting of mages, the Guard responds by creating the MAD—the Magical Anti-terrorism Division, later known as the Wizzard Hunters. Aedran is placed in command. His unit is a collection of rejects: outsiders from other races, cowards, the traumatized, the unwanted. Together, they are tasked with doing what magic itself can no longer be trusted to do—control magic by force, knowledge, and technology. As humanity turns to technocamelium, experimental armor, and pre-industrial innovations to survive in a hostile world, Aedran must confront not only rogue mages, but the consequences of a world rebuilding itself through fear, adaptation, and blood. Wizzard Hunters is a dark, character-focused fantasy about trauma without despair, progress without idealism, and the brutal rebirth of humanity after near extinction. What to expect: • Anti-hero protagonist • Dark fantasy without hopelessness • Violent action and mature themes • Cynical, sarcastic tone • No harem, no romance focus • Hard Magic System It will be published in a one-day-on, one-day-off format. CHOKERS

Los Angeles, 2085. The world’s run by Command—a militarized authority that regulates the powered, the Armed, and promises safety from parasite-taken monsters called Disfigures. When a Breach erupts during a protest, Command blames civilians, triggers mass arrests, and turns “wrong place, wrong time” into life sentences. Seventeen-year-old Jaden Banks wants one thing: stay out the way. He’s a low-grade telekinetic with tired eyes and no interest in being a hero. Command doesn’t care. Swept into the Containment Intake Center, collared, injected, and stripped into white inmate gear, Jaden becomes a Choker—a prisoner deployed on the front lines in Collared Response Squads. Breaches don’t stop. The city doesn’t pause. Inside the system, people break into Certified CRS lapdogs… or become Leashed. Outside, Disfigures grow smarter, waves hit harder, and something behind the outbreaks starts to feel organized. The strongest fighters alive still can’t challenge the Disfigured King alone—because his ability, King’s Turn, adapts to anything that doesn’t erase him in one shot. Jaden learns fast. Too fast. As his power sharpens and his body hardens in custody, his calm stops being restraint and becomes a threat. Between school cadets chasing rank, Command officers enforcing quotas, and inmates fighting to stay human, the story fractures into multiple POVs—each one watching the same machine grind people down. Then Jaden decides the machine deserves to bleed back. And when the Chokers finally revolt, the question isn’t whether Command can stop them. It’s how many districts will burn before anyone can.

LOTR: Children of Refusal

At the Waters of Awakening, an elf is born with memories that don’t belong to this world. When the Valar arrive with their shining offer - salvation, eternal light, a paradise across the sea — he sees what others cannot. A price hidden beneath divine promises. Safety traded for freedom. So he does the unthinkable. He refuses. The Avari-the Unwilling, the Refusers, the ones history will forget — follow him into exile. What unfolds is not a tale of wandering wonder, but of building: walls raised against the coming darkness, weapons forged without divine guidance, a kingdom carved from nothing but will and determination. Because in Middle-earth, freedom is never free. And darkness always comes to collect. ━━━━━━━━ ⟡ AUTHOR’S NOTES ⟡ ━━━━━━━━ Lore-heavy beginning: The opening chapters introduce many Tolkien terms, names, and worldbuilding elements. If it feels dense at first, don’t worry - each chapter ends with a mini-glossary to help you navigate everything easily. Long-form chapters: The chapter count may look small early on, but every chapter is substantial (3,000+ words minimum, often much longer). AU & apologies to lore purists: This is an Alternate Universe kingdom-building story set in Tolkien’s Middle-earth. I apologize in advance to hardcore LOTR fans for any lore liberties or naming mistakes - I’m doing my best to honor the source material while exploring new possibilities. Constructive feedback is always welcome (kindly, please)! Give it a chance. The Avari are waiting!!!

A Different Middle-earth: A King's Tale

[ CURRENT STATUS: 243.461 Words ] [ Status: Ongoing - Long Chapters (2500-4500 words each) ] --- There are thousands of worlds, each with its own stories and legends. Every storyteller has a different motive: some seek power and wealth, others love and revenge. Some strive for adventure and passion, while others fight for justice and peace. In one of these many worlds—a distorted version of Middle-earth—a young man’s journey begins. However, the peace of this day is a deception. Our hero was once an ordinary teenager who died protecting a friend in a gang fight. He wakes up to find himself in a Middle-earth that is vastly different from the tales he knew. In this realm, Elves, Humans, and Dwarves share the land with darker shadows: Vampires, Liches, Werewolves, Hydras, and Basilisks. The history of this world is not what was told in the books. While our hero sets out for the Shire to find Gandalf and Thorin, he acquires a Kingdom Building System, turning his survival mission into an epic quest to carve out his own destiny. --- ⚠️ WARNING FOR TOLKIEN PURISTS: This is a Radical Alternative Universe (AU). While the foundation of this world is built upon Tolkien’s original work vast parts of history and lore have been fundamentally rewritten. You will encounter familiar landmarks and themes, but the origins of races like Orcs and Dark Elves, and the inclusion of entirely new creatures, mark a deep departure from the original books. Fanfiction is about exploration and "What if" scenarios. If you are looking for a story that strictly adheres to the established canon, this is NOT for you. If you want the original story, the books are always there to be reread. --- What to expect: Grounded MC: No overpowered protagonist. Success is earned, not given. No Harem: While the MC remains loyal to one person, you might encounter side characters or world elements where harems exist. Strategic System: The system is for management and kingdom building, not a "cheat code" for instant strength. Complex Hero: A slightly chaotic yet serious protagonist. A Multiverse Twist: Potential appearances from different anime universes and John Flanagan’s works. Alternative Universe: This is a radical departure from the original Hobbit and LOTR canon. Strictly no LGBT content. --- the world where the novel takes place is middle earth as seen in the hobbit and lord of the rings books. [author of the books: john ronald reuel tolkien] but i made some changes. sites that are my sources of information about the world: for map: http://lotrproject.com/ for information: https://tolkiengateway.net also some characters from john anthony flanagan books will be in my novel. Military System God Realm

The Maxim machine gun shoots through magical beasts. Intercontinental ballistic missiles fired at Martial Artists. Fighter planes rise above the gods realm. If you can’t fight it, throw an atomic bomb for world peace. Collapse Military, System, Reincarnation, Cultivation, Management, Summoning Magic, Politics, Eastern Setting, Male Protagonist, Weak to Strong Haayyzzz. . . Translation/Grammar problem :'( It's nice to read if you can handle the paaaiiinn! 3.9 star with majority in 5 and 3, and no 1star sound pretty good to me Dang i forgot that i already read this at another site, realize at chapter 300+ so might as well finished it for the 2nd time, kinda waste of time but wasting time is the reason we read, right. Gets bad towards the end. After the 340 mark if I remember correctly.Spoiler:Especially since he marries that arrogant cultivator. It starts going downhill from there. The novel has shortcomings, but you do not get bored while reading it because there are not many details. I finished in 1 day.Cookie Roman.(+)-MC is usually in the foreground but there are too many side characters and I didn't like MC very much so it was good that it was that way.-A few Empire-building novels would either have a harem (concubine logic) or no girl romance at all. Romance is not at the forefront in this series but there is a girl and it's not like some silly romance novels. MC likes the girl and she likes her they get married, no silly jokes or unnecessary extensions it happened right away.-My favorite part is that the fast pacing could have been even shorter but the MC doesn't care much about some things so the event gets longer but in a different way.(-)-MC sometimes doesn't kill people who need to be killed then they cause trouble but he somehow forgives them but too many soldiers died he doesn't care at all-World Details didn't think much about what is being sold at that price, or is it a very strong ranking or something.-Character traits are not specified, such as hair color, height, eye color. It's a novel with many things missing, but you won't get bored, read it quickly without thinkingIn some places the translation gets worse but not like MTL. (Unedited sentences)6/10 this is new https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/15925/the-daily-grind Buena novela de gestion. !!! WARNING: MTL AHEAD !!!This novel is a great read if you like kingdom-building novels, the MC uses modern weapons, government structures, and economic tactics. That being said, the translation is hot garbage, so you might have trouble understanding it from time to time. 4/5 Its a good novel if I dare do say! It is about when a guy reincarnated in a Eastern Martial Arts world where the regular humans are treated like slaves and trash and the Martial Artists themselves like gods. The MC was born as a prince in the only place that isn't really part of the sects, the East (pretty ironic if I do dare say my self), and he has no Martial Arts ability, however, he has his own Military System. What is this system you say? Well, how about you go check it out man!
