In the Dao Hall where the Tianyi Palace Master usually held annual lectures, a string of red lanterns was hung, adding a touch of festive joy. Everyone else, including musicians, dancers, and solemn Dao officials, were fully prepared. The doors of the Dao Hall were opened early to welcome honored guests inside.
