The room fell into a deep silence after Tiara's question.
"Do... we look like we're close?" Arthur asked, breaking the silence.
Tiara tilted her head.
"Like, really close."
Her gaze moved between Arthur and William.
"You know, men have a term for it. Best buddies or something."
She pointed at the two of them.
"That's what I've been observing."
Arthur nearly choked.
Meanwhile, William simply looked away.
That reaction alone made Tiara even more suspicious.
"See?" she immediately said. "That's exactly the reaction I was talking about."
"What reaction?" Arthur asked.
"The guilty reaction." Tiara narrowed her eyes suspiciously.
Arthur looked offended.
"Why would I be guilty?"
"Because you're acting guilty."
She pinched Arthur's arm lightly.
"I am not."
He tried his best to remain calm.
"You are," Tiara muttered, sounding as though she had already won the argument.
