I left the dark walls of the interrogation chamber behind. My footsteps echoed throughout the narrow corridor as I walked with purpose to the administrative wing. My destination? The Alpha's study.
I said to Austin who walked a few steps behind, "Prepare all the evidence. Have everyone gather in the council room, including Waverly. When I give the command, have both Rose and that lady in the interrogation room be brought over. It's time to put an end to all this."
Austin nodded. "As you command."
As I approached the Alpha's office, my head was strangely quiet. All the chaos that had been brewing up there had dissipated strangely. Now, all I felt was a profound sense of calmness.
Perhaps it was due to the fact that the perpetrators of evil had finally been caught. I scoffed lightly and paid no heed to the guards who welcomed my presence. I did not bother knocking either, simply pushing the doors open.
