"You don't know what to do now?", Ajay asked. Indrajit stood in front of him, staring at the floor.
Jay sat on the recliner beside the couch. He didn't open his mouth at all, except for a couple of sighs.
Indrajit's puppy-eyes looked up into Ajay's Arctic-coded-eyes. Ajay burst into laughter to end the awkward eye contact.
"A man's thing. But I don't want a random girl's accident to inherit the greatest empire in the history of mankind.", Ajay spoke warmly as Jay was finding it uncomfortable to sit.
"But she expects rectitude on my side", Indrajit tried mumbling as if he had a choice.
"Bring her home for a dinner. We'll do the settlements. Show some rectitude to your family first", Ajay said, not so cool, not so warm.
Jay couldn't stand it anymore. He stood up and asked, "So what have you decided?" while adjusting his pants.
"Our family shouldn't raise such a child. I am going to show my recti..." Jay slapped Indrajit hard on his cheeks and yelled "I WILL SHOVE YOUR RECTITUDE UP YOUR RECTUM."
Indrajit's face turned red. But Jay's face was even darker in anger.
Ajay was shell-shocked. He maintained a calm face and voice as he said, "This is not the way..." Jay didn't let him finish.
"I'm pointing the way!" said Jay as he continued his conversation with Indrajit, "It's not a man thing, you scoundrel, it's a prostitute thing. If this bastard doesn't raise Divya's child, I will and that child will inherit it's birthright. End of conversation."
He gulped a whole jar of water and started walking out.
He stopped, turned back and said, "I didn't expect this from you, Indrajit. Just go and get married."
Ajay stood up as he yelled towards Indrajit, "Marry her if you want to end up a common man."
Jay turned towards his father and pronounced, "Stop him if you want to end up like Vikram did."
