Eris was numb. What did he mean, *let the other goddesses come down*? If the other goddesses were actually willing to come down, she wouldn't be the one standing here right now.
After all, the God Slayer aura radiating from Ren Isana had completely terrified the other goddesses. None of them wanted to come down and chat with him, so they had no choice but to send her. She had been given full authority to handle this matter.
"Um, Mr. Ren..." Eris looked at him with a helpless expression. "The other goddesses won't be coming down. I'll be the one communicating with you..."
Hearing this, Ren was immediately amused. *Were they scared?* Knowing the temperament of the goddesses in this world, it was entirely possible. They were all way too cowardly, after all.
Ren looked at Eris and smiled. "Since you're the one in charge, let's have a chat. We can discuss the cooperation between our world and yours~!"
Eris nodded silently. Instead of speaking, she gestured for Ren to continue, letting him lay out his proposed cooperation plan first so she could consider it before discussing it with the others.
Ren began to explain some of his ideas. He proposed allowing free travel between the two worlds in the future, and if possible, they might even establish schools and similar institutions in this world.
Magic and other skills in this world were simply too easy to learn. Wouldn't it be a shame not to make good use of that? As Ren explained his reasoning, Eris nodded thoughtfully.
"None of that is a problem. Actually, we don't really care much about the development of this world. We've only been paying so much attention to it because Senior Aqua left behind too many messes," Eris admitted with an awkward smile.
If Ren and his people needed it, handing this entire world over to them wouldn't be an issue at all. As long as they didn't destroy it, it was fine. The goddesses only wanted this world to collect faith, anyway.
However, once their power reached a certain level, faith didn't have that massive of an impact anymore. Wasn't the largest religion in this world currently the Eris Order, after all?
The other goddesses didn't need the stuff. As for Aqua, she was purely just playing around, and no one bothered to stop her. Who could blame them when Senior Aqua was so incredibly unreliable? It would be one thing if she were just unreliable, but her divine status was ridiculously high, leaving everyone powerless to do anything about her.
Ren was a bit surprised to hear Eris say this. He glanced at her and asked, "So you're saying you don't care at all about what we do in this world?"
He had expected to have to haggle over a lot of details. To think they didn't care about any of this? That was certainly beyond his expectations.
"That's right. As long as you don't cause widespread destruction, it's fine. That would be bad. And if possible, please help us eliminate the Demon King," Eris requested, looking a bit embarrassed.
The greatest threat to this world was the Demon King. As long as the Demon King was destroyed and all the items Senior Aqua had handed out in this world were retrieved, the goddesses would wash their hands of it.
Having understood Eris's stance, Ren immediately grasped the situation. He looked at her and replied, "If that's all, our side can handle it for you. We've always maintained an attitude of friendly coexistence toward new worlds."
Eris blinked, then nodded. Although this man possessed the aura of a God Slayer, he seemed like a good person. There shouldn't be any major problems.
As for Ren's proposal to build schools in this world, it really didn't matter. Compared to those things, she was much more focused on another idea. With that in mind, Eris looked at Ren and asked, "Mr. Ren, I was wondering... are there any requirements for us to visit your side?"
Yes, this was what Eris was currently thinking. She wanted to visit Ren's world. If it truly was a world connected to many others, it had to be absolutely fascinating, right?
"There are basically no requirements. If I had to name one real rule, it would just be this: don't cause trouble!" That was the sole condition for entering their world.
In Ren's world, as long as you came with good intentions, you were free to move about as you pleased. But if you harbored any ulterior motives—sorry, you probably wouldn't even be able to step foot inside.
Pandora took her territory very seriously. If anyone tried to cause trouble, she would immediately bare her fangs at them. However, if Eris were to go over, she would likely be welcomed with open arms.
With her identity as the Goddess of Luck, once the news spread over there, Eris would probably become the most popular deity in an instant. She might even gather a massive amount of faith.
No one disliked the Goddess of Luck; everyone loved her. Eris was arguably the deity least lacking in faith—especially since she was such a cute Goddess of Luck!
Hearing this, Eris immediately breathed a sigh of relief. If that was the case, then there wouldn't be any major issues. She looked at Ren with utmost seriousness and declared, "Mr. Ren, our world welcomes your arrival. I hope both sides can coexist harmoniously in the future."
Ren nodded. Just like that, the two sides established a verbal agreement. They had technically negotiated, but it felt like they hadn't really discussed much at all. Eris's main goal had simply been to figure out the conditions for visiting their world.
With their conversation concluded, Eris immediately took her leave. She returned straight to the Divine Realm, preparing to inform the others about everything. Now that she had the answers she wanted, she needed to go back and share the news.
Watching Eris depart, Ren headed straight for where Asuna and the others were located. At the moment, Asuna was leading Eriri and the new girls to split up and hunt monsters. However, she wasn't helping them secure the kills; instead, she was making them do it themselves while she and the veterans stood guard nearby.
Seeing Ren approach, Asuna asked curiously, "Are you done talking with her? How did it go?"
He had returned so quickly—did the negotiations fall through? Everyone looked at Ren with curious eyes, eager to know the outcome.
Ren immediately explained, "It's all settled. The deities of this world don't actually care much about it. We can come over whenever we want; they don't have any conditions."
Asuna froze at his words. *Good grief, are they really that irresponsible? They're the goddesses of this world, aren't they? And they don't care about its survival at all?* The group was left utterly speechless by the revelation.
But then everyone quickly remembered the incredibly unreliable Aqua, and Asuna suddenly felt it made perfect sense. After all, Aqua was the type to sell all her skills for a few hundred thousand Eris just so she could go buy booze.
So it wasn't a stretch to assume the other goddesses were just as unreliable, right? Asuna's expression turned a bit strange. *Could it be that all the gods in this world are like Aqua? Is there not a single normal one among them?*
Ren didn't dwell on the topic. His gaze shifted toward Eriri. Watching her continuously copy magic, Ren suddenly remembered something and remarked, "This Eriri... her talent is quite similar to Director Ken's!"
Director Ken's talent was `[Magic Echo]`, an ability Ren had copied before. Eriri's talent was `[Magic Profiling]`, and the magical effects of both were identical.
Both allowed the user to copy and use other people's magic. However, Director Ken's talent came with a rather absurd restriction: he couldn't copy the magic of non-human races.
It was precisely because he had copied certain Dragon race magic that his strength became permanently stuck at Tier 9, leading to severe physical complications. He had used his own painful lesson to leave behind a strict warning for his students: never learn non-human magic!
Hearing Ren say this, Asuna paused for a moment. Thinking about it carefully, it really did seem to be the case. Prompted by the thought, she asked, "Should we warn her?"
Director Ken had figured out those restrictions through a bloody lesson. Eriri wouldn't make the same mistake, would she? Asuna looked at Eriri with a hint of concern.
"It's best to remind her. After all, a lot of people don't always take the warnings written in books to heart," Mahiru Shiina chimed in, feeling it was necessary to give the girl a heads-up.
Otherwise, it would be too late once something went wrong. It was better to let her be on her guard. Ren nodded and immediately called out to the group in the distance, "Stop for a moment!"
Ren's voice reached their ears, and they all looked over in confusion, not quite understanding what was going on. Nevertheless, they hurriedly finished off the Giant Toad in front of them and ran over to him.
Seeing them approach, Ren locked eyes with Eriri and asked, "Eriri, your talent is very similar to Director Ken's. Did you know that?"
At Ren's question, Eriri blinked. "Who's Director Ken? Is his talent also able to copy other people's magic like mine?"
Ren's words immediately piqued her interest. The others also looked over curiously. Had Ren called them all over just to talk about this?
"That's right. The names are different, but the effects are practically the same. Do you remember the contents of the first page of the *Introduction to Magic*?" Ren asked, watching her calmly.
Eriri was instantly dumbfounded. She had genuinely forgotten what it said. Her brain spun frantically, but she just couldn't recall it. Panic started to set in. *Did I forget something important?*
"Do not learn the magic of other races!" Iroha Sakayori remembered it very clearly and spoke up to answer the question for Eriri. However, what she didn't understand was why Ren was asking this.
"Right, right, exactly!!" Prompted by Iroha, Eriri finally snapped back to reality and remembered the text. No one perfectly memorized everything they had learned before, especially a detail like that. Without thinking about it carefully, she wouldn't have remembered it at all.
"Right, it looks like you completely forgot. Do you know *why* that prohibition exists?" Ren looked at the girl, utterly speechless. It was a good thing he had asked her now.
Hearing this, an ominous premonition suddenly welled up in Eriri's heart. She stared at Ren in bewilderment, and then she heard his next words—words that instantly made her break out in a cold sweat!
