Ren Isana directly brought the five girls to the entrance of the Konosuba world. Upon arriving, they immediately spotted the gateway. Was this the world they were heading to?
Everyone looked around. Finding themselves surrounded entirely by forest, Miori Shiba couldn't help but ask, "Is this place close to that city? Does the surrounding land need to be developed?"
Her mind was completely preoccupied with the idea of buying land here. She truly lived up to her status as the eldest daughter of a capitalist family. Even without knowing the situation of this world yet, she was already thinking about doing business right at the entrance.
"I don't know. You should ask the local administrator about that kind of thing," Ren replied with a shrug. "I'm only responsible for the development. How things are handled in the future isn't up to me."
With that said, Ren stepped forward and walked right in. Seeing this, Miori had no choice but to temporarily put those business thoughts aside and hurry after him. She would figure out the situation in this world first.
The group followed Ren through the spatial channel. When they reappeared, they stepped directly into a grassy plain. In the distance, they could even see a few giant frogs hopping about.
Looking at the surrounding environment, Ren quickly realized where he was. This was the place where Aqua and the others had been eaten by the frogs. Supposedly, those frogs tasted pretty good. Without dwelling on it too much, he began communicating with Asuna through his spatial mark. "Asuna, I've arrived. I'm out on the plains by the entrance. Where are you guys right now?"
Over in the Guild, a flash of pleasant surprise crossed Asuna's eyes when she heard Ren's voice. They had just returned, and now she was hearing the news of his arrival. This was fantastic.
"I'm inside the town's Guild. We just eliminated an executive of the Demon King's Army. Come straight over, I'll go to the town gates to meet you!!" Asuna's voice quickly echoed in Ren's mind.
After the two agreed on a meeting point, Ren turned to Miori and the others. "Let's go. I've already contacted Asuna's group. They're nearby."
With that, Ren took the lead, and the rest followed closely behind. Iroha Sakayori jogged up to his side and asked, "Senior Ren, do we have any specific missions for coming to this world?"
They had been brought over directly, but Ren hadn't explained anything related to their tasks. This left Iroha quite confused about what exactly they were here to do.
"This world is quite special. As long as you have skill points, you can learn many of the magics here—and you learn them instantly with a single point," Ren explained as they walked. "I plan to have you guys test things out here. We need to see if Hestia's Falna combined with this world's system can allow you to rapidly grow stronger."
Hearing Ren's explanation, everyone's eyes instantly lit up. If that was the case, then this world was incredibly valuable! It was the perfect beginner village—a thought that unanimously surfaced in everyone's minds.
Miori made a decision on the spot. As soon as she got back, she was going to have her father buy land here. If nothing unexpected happened, this world would become the cradle for all newcomers in the future, wouldn't it?
Especially the part about being able to easily learn this world's magic. How much time would that save people? It was far too significant.
Yuki Suou was also quite tempted at this moment. She hurriedly asked, "Senior Ren, can people without magic talent also learn magic in this world?"
Truth be told, she was actually quite depressed about her situation. She had always wanted to be a mage, but unexpectedly, her talent points were completely maxed out in martial arts, and her awakened talent was also entirely related to being a martial artist.
She could learn any martial art instantly, but anything related to magic had absolutely nothing to do with her. She couldn't even learn `[Meditation]`. This frustrated her to no end.
Ever since awakening her talent, she had sought out many methods, even traveling to other continents and worlds, but nothing had solved the problem. Now, it seemed there was a turning point?
"You can. As long as you change your class to an Adventurer in this world, you won't be restricted by your profession. You'll be able to learn all the magic in this world. It's quite a broken system, though it might cost a few more skill points~!" Ren's words instantly gave Yuki a dose of reassurance.
If that was the case, it would be absolutely wonderful! As for it costing more skill points? That didn't matter. As long as she could learn flashy magic, it was fine. Besides, based on game mechanics, there had to be a way to earn those skill points, right?
The group chatted as they walked, with Ren explaining some of the conditions of this world to them. Their goal for coming here was singular: to test whether the Falna could function in tandem with this world's system.
Having understood all this, everyone immediately knew what they were supposed to do. Following Ren, they arrived at the town's entrance, where they quickly noticed the people waiting for them.
They also spotted Ren's party and hurried over to greet them. Seeing her boyfriend arrive, Asuna couldn't hide the pleasant surprise on her face as she rushed forward.
"Asuna!" A smile graced Ren's face when he saw her. After Asuna and Megumi Kato walked up to him, they looked at the newcomers with curious gazes.
"Hello, seniors!" Iroha, Eriri, and Yuki were meeting Asuna's group for the first time, so they were quite unfamiliar with each other. However, Kisara Tendo and Miori Shiba were no strangers.
"Asuna, long time no see!" Miori was thrilled to see familiar friends, though there were also unfamiliar faces—like Arcueid, who had newly joined the team!
"Hello to you too, Kisara, Miori. It's been a while. Come on, let's head inside before we talk!" Hearing how these girls addressed her, Asuna roughly understood the situation.
*Members of the new special class?* Ren must have brought them here for training. With this guess in mind, Asuna led everyone into the town. Because they had just experienced a battle, the town was quite peaceful. The only lively area was the district where the Guild was located.
Led by Asuna, the group arrived at the Guild. Feeling the atmosphere inside, which was completely out of place with the outside world, first-timers like Iroha were incredibly amazed.
Asuna brought everyone to a table and had them sit down. It was already covered with food, all ordered by Asuna's group when they went out. With Ren's arrival, she naturally had to order a lavish feast to welcome them.
"Let's eat first, and then we can take our time chatting." Sitting next to Ren, Asuna began to host the group, urging everyone to try the otherworldly cuisine.
Seeing this, everyone didn't hold back. They took their seats and began to taste the food. As they ate and chatted, Asuna shared some of the things her group had been up to in this world.
The other classmates had already scattered, heading off to adventure across the world in search of the cheat items that Aqua and the others had thrown in.
"So, did you find anything?" Ren looked at Asuna curiously. Searching for cheats shouldn't have been a mere whim. She must have seen something to decide on doing that, right?
"I found a sword. I bought it from someone named Kazuma... It cost me quite a bit of money," Asuna said, looking a bit helpless between laughter and tears at the mention of it.
That guy had used the `[Steal]` skill to pilfer a reincarnator's weapon, and then turned around and sold it to Asuna. Naturally, Asuna didn't hold back and bought it without a second thought.
Now that it was in her hands, there was no way they were getting it back. Anyway, she bought it from Kazuma. If the original owner wanted it back, they could go find Kazuma—she had paid for it, after all.
Listening to Asuna's explanation, Ren felt quite speechless. That was somewhat devious, directly shifting the blame onto Kazuma. But he had to admit, it was beautifully done.
"But this thing seems to be bound. Help me take a look!" Asuna said, handing over the Divine Weapon she had spent 200,000 on to Ren, letting the blacksmith see what was going on.
The others also cast their gazes over. Everyone was quite interested in these things, especially after learning that this world had numerous cheats.
Ren took the weapon Asuna handed him. After a brief inspection, he understood the situation. He swiped his hand over it, and the bound soul inside instantly dissipated, turning into a wisp of light that vanished before everyone's eyes.
"Done. It was just a measly soul binding. When it comes to playing with souls, I'm a professional." For Ren, who possessed the `[Third Magic]`, solving these kinds of problems was simply too easy.
Hearing Ren say this, Asuna's eyes instantly lit up. Looking at the Divine Weapon in Ren's hands, she couldn't help but say, "I don't really like the style of this sword. What do you think we should do with it? Take it back directly, or...?"
Her own sword was already quite excellent and had even become a Noble Phantasm. Therefore, she didn't have much interest in these Divine Weapons. The buffs on it weren't even as good as her own weapon's.
"Just melt it down and use it as material," Ren suggested after examining the weapon in his hand. "Megumi and Yukino's weapons haven't been forged into Noble Phantasms yet."
Adding the materials from this sword would likely significantly enhance the forged Noble Phantasms, so naturally, it couldn't be wasted. In fact, they could completely gather some of the cheat items in this world to use as crafting materials.
Hearing Ren's words, Megumi Kato and Yukino Yukinoshita's eyes couldn't help but light up. A Noble Phantasm? That would be fantastic. They had already witnessed the power of the rapier in Asuna's hands. Earlier, when Asuna was hacking down the Demon King's Army, it was like chopping vegetables—she was incredibly strong.
Currently, not counting Emilia and the others who joined later, Asuna was probably the number one fighter in the class right below Ais, right? The strength boost from that Noble Phantasm was more than just a little bit!
