The Three are standing before Ukzoc as he slashed, his blade cutting the three of them before they could react.
They all fall to their knees as three arcs of blood jet out from them.
"Yes this is exactly what I love to see, everyone below me kneeling as they should"
Zoephelia collapses her wounds piling up the damage almost too much to bear. Lynn didn't get hit as badly, the slash only cutting her shoulder, but Kaiser took the brunt of it trying to shield the others with his shadows, only for them to be sliced through like paper.
"What's wrong? Was that too much, I can make it easier for you next time, I'll kill you on the spot now"
Ukzoc prepares to slash again only to be tackled by Deakon who had got away from the Behemoth in time to save them.
Kaiser stands up albeit as painful as it was he grabs Zoephelia and moves away to recover for even just a second,Lynn prepares her magic to help Deakon, her magic circles appearing around the two of them.
"Kaiser! Zoephelia! This is our chance we need to attack him before-
The Behemoth appeared in front of her, its fist already landing on her stomach, launching her back and disrupting her magic entirely.
Ukzoc grabs Deakon by the face and slams him into the ground, as he lays motionless he begins to step over him only for Deakon to grab his leg and sink his claws into his leg.
"How pitiful you bugs want to ruin my perfection…. I won't have it"
Ukzoc's power begins to swirl causing everything to start vacuuming towards him dragging everything in the vicinity towards him besides his monstrous creation, Kaiser and Zoe trying to fly through it only to suddenly stop, everything stops Ukzoc is standing there calmly.
"Annihilate"
The vortex expands and explodes engulfing everyone as the sphere of pure energy destroyed everything blasting the buildings and debris and the group in every direction.
The city block is completely gone nothing was left except bodies and rubble, the only things standing tall were Ukzoc and His Behemoth as they looked over their assumed victory.
"hahahahahah finally!! No there's-
A black blade slices down from his shoulder to his waist splitting his torso vertically, blood erupting from his body, behind him is Kaiser his face completely covered in blood, his clothing torn to shreds, Ukzoc turning his head can only look in shock as his body was nearly cut in half.
"I told you I'd kill you"
Kaiser pushes his sword further trying to fully split him in two.
"Boy you have no idea what's happening do you"
Ukzoc's neck spins cracking as he now looks Kaiser in the face directly, his body slowly stitching itself back together around his sword.
"That won't kill someone like me"
Ukzoc's entire body completely reversed now fully facing him he grabs Kaiser's sword pulling it out, yet not a single drop of blood appeared from the wound anymore.
"You'll finally learn why you'll never win"
Kaiser Jumps back letting go of his sword and Dispersing it, skipping backwards he darts from black discs to create distance.
"Neat trick let me show you something"
Ukzoc summons his Behemoth, and they both teleport on each side of him beginning to jump him, Kaiser dodges a few strikes, blocking some but they're overwhelming his guard becoming weaker and weaker.
A few feet away is Zoephelia rising from the dust, her wings fully out but her forehead has a large gash, blood flowing steadily, Besides her Deakon stands up, his tail smacking the ground. As he begins to walk towards The fight.
"Deakon, let's go no time to waste"
Deakon begins sprinting towards the fight, his eyes determined to kill that beast, Zoephelia flies into the air Calling her spear, the Sparks intensify as she channels her Aura through it.
"Let's see them stop this"
Rearing her arm back she launches the spear a thundering boom as she lets it fly towards The Behemoth, the spear speeding through the air Closing in on her target.
Deakon full speed ahead tackled Ukzoc separating him, Kaiser kicks off from the Behemoth as he hears the spear coming.
The Behemoth roars out, trying to chase him, Kaiser uses his shadows to try and stop it's movement for a few seconds longer, it works but the Behemoth begins to break out, holding on he grits his teeth trying to keep the connection for a few seconds longer before it breaks,the Behemoth steps forward again, causing Kaiser to cough out blood as his shadows are being forcibly broken.
"Come one just one more-
The Behemoth breaks free and charges Kaiser.
"Damn it"
Right before it reaches him Zoephelia's spear crashes into the Behemoth's chests causing an electrical explosion, Kaiser barely got away in time as he watched the Behemoth get electrocuted by the lightning spear.
The lightning from the spear began to melt its skin as the Behemoth couldn't move from the impact, its body regenerating quickly but still getting destroyed, a battle of attrition between Zoephelia and the Beast that could heal itself.
Kaiser summons his sword but this time he compressed the shadows on the blade tip, it hardening even more, rushing towards it he slashes quickly back and forth multiple times the slashes not healing as well as the lightning was working its regeneration into overdrive, but quickly it begins to slow down as it can't keep up with Kaiser's Strikes and Zoephelia's lightning.
Deakon Now trading blows with Ukzoc becomes angrier as His Pride as a dragon was insulted by this man, stealing his blood something extremely precious to dragons.
"I'll rip and tear you apart for what you've done to me"
Ukzoc just smiles at him and punches him in the face expecting him to fly away only for Deakon's head to move back only for him to rest back and headbutt Ukzoc, cracking his horn slightly.
"Uhhh you insolent"
Ukzoc grabs Deakon by the neck and kicks him away trying to create some space, Ukzoc looks for his Behemoth only to see its skin melting off and no longer regenerating anymore as Zoephelia and Kaiser continuously attack it over and over.
"If it can't survive that then it wasn't perfect afterall, I guess I only succeeded with myself… No matter I'll kill you regardless"
Kaiser and Zoephelia finally stop their attacks as the Behemoth had stopped moving it's flesh fully melted off its Body, it's head fully slumped over.
Kaiser and Zoephelia breath a sigh of relief as now one obstacle was out of the way and now their plan could begin.
"Good job, now let's handle this freak"
Kaiser turns to Ukzoc who is just waiting his arms crossed as he waits for all three of them to attack him…wait three?
Ukzoc begins to search for Lynns aura around him,But the trio began to rush him pushing the thoughts out of his head as he prepared to attack.
Kaiser and Zoephelia began to zigzag crossing their attack pattern together, while Deakon had charged straight ahead, making Ukzoc focus on him for even just a second.
Zoephelia then jumps up, intending to fly, but Kaiser grabs, onto her leg using it to boost himself, higher.
Deakon clashes with Ukzoc their strength almost equal, but Ukzoc had the advantage his new found power had given him the edge but Deakon refused to let that be, his strikes landing hard and quick, but Ukzoc's regeneration was already working to reduce the pain.
Zoephelia flying in the air throws lightning strikes at Ukzoc whenever Deakon created an opening their teamwork was sloppy but it worked throwing Ukzoc off enough for their attacks to do Some damage but they couldn't overwhelm his healing factor like they did the Behemoth it seems he actually perfected himself.
Kaiser was standing on disc of shadows condensing a ball of shadows to make another bomb. It's color purple while it slowly became pitch black as he poured more of his Power into it.
Kaiser looks at the other two as they began to slowly break Ukzoc's defenses, his moves becoming sloppier and more predictable as now Deakon had taken control of the fight putting Ukzoc on the defensive much to his annoyance.
"Zoephelia, I'm going to attack him wait for my signal to stop your strikes, I'll attack when that happens"
Zoephelia nods as she circles in the air her lightning raining down onto Ukzoc, sometimes it would graze Deakon but he ignored the pain, as he tried to end the existence of disrespect in front of him.
Kaiser now on the ground slinks around the two as they're still throwing strikes at each other neither slowing down the ball of Shadows just waiting to explode, Deakon lands a devastating uppercut to Ukzoc's stomach causing him to keel over Kaiser, decided then was the time to strike. he signaled to Zoephelia to stop and rushed Ukzoc the orb in hand and punches the orb into Ukzoc's stomach.
"Let's see you regenerate that bastard"
Kaiser let's it go and grabs Deakon before the blast and covers them in a shadow dome to protect from the blast.
The Shadows explode and Ukzoc cries out in pain before becoming engulfed in the explosion.
Zoephelia despite seeing the explosion called her spear, it flying from the corpse of the Behemoth into her hands As she began to Charge it again.
"Let's see if this will end you like your little friend"
The spear began to glow as she practically overheated it it shaking rapidly in her hands, rearing back she throws it again this time, not a sound was heard as it nearly teleported from her hands onto the spot where Ukzoc was standing, the shadows and Lightning combined into an even bigger mushroom cloud.
As Kaiser and Deakon moved under the cover of his Shadow dome they regrouped with Zoephelia who landed not too far away from them, they waited as the smoke cleared, Ukzoc's silhouette appeared, unmoving.
The Three prepared to strike again, but the dust settled and they see Ukzoc Zoephelia's spear was through his head, splitting his face, his torso was split as Kaiser's bomb blew half of it away, one of his Arms were missing now as well, but he wasn't dead as he looked at the trio, He grabbed the spear with his remaining hand and pulled it out of his face, vomiting blood, his Face began to contort as it began to heal itself, his torso tho wasn't regenerating as quickly.
Kaiser rushes Ukzoc with his sword, aiming to stop his healing. Slash after slash, he struck him, and not too long after, Zoephelia had joined in as well, grabbing her spear and slicing him to prevent him from fully healing. Deakon had used his flames to continue burning him. Ukzoc could do nothing as the trio's teamwork had fully solidified, their movements perfect as they complimented each other and attacked together rapidly.
Ukzoc can do nothing as his abilities began to fail him,but his vision of being perfect was crumbling, but no that wasn't acceptable, that wasn't how this was supposed to go, he was supposed to be better, the Pinnacle.
"How dare you do this to me…to ME"
Ukzoc's Aura lashes out, blowing the three of them away , his power coming back to him, but his regeneration wasn't back to its peak; it could barely heal his torn torso.
"This is your final chance, surrender or Die"
The Three look at him before they charge him again set on ending him.
Kaiser takes the lead as they prepare to use the shadow teleport plan.
"Remember be prepared to be switched, move as you'd be in the next spot"
The other two nod Kaiser slices Ukzoc's Leg bringing him to a knee before he jumps away only for Deakon to Brutally throw an uppercut, and a kick to his face, Zoephelia flew from behind, Kicking his head forward as Deakon backed off, Ukzoc now off balance tried to grab her but Kaiser's eyes Flashed for a Second, expecting to teleport her away only for nothing to happen.
"Damn it"
Ukzoc grabbed her ankle and threw her into Deakon, who wasn't ready and they ended up crashing into the ground. Kaiser's Teleporting didn't work, Granted he never tried it with people before but it did put a hole in their plan.
Kaiser Jumps back to the other two Ukzoc was recovering from the attack but not Charging em. But looking around he finally acknowledged something else being off.
"Where the hell is Lynn?"
Zoephelia shrugged as she got up And stood next to Kaiser, Deakon had ignored it completely as his instincts were just screaming at him to attack Ukzoc.
Ukzoc Himself had started to walk forward now his healing factor had finally brought his torso back together but a huge scar was visible from Zoephelia's Spear.
"I Give you credit fledglings, but it'll -
Before he could take another step blood pours out of his Mouth, causing him to sink to his knees clutching his Chest in pain.
"Wha-what the Hell is happening to me?!?"
A red and Black symbol appeared in front of him and placed itself on his chest pulsing.
Ukzoc was completely shocked. He didn't expect any of those children to know curses, then it hit him, it wasn't one of those three it was her.
Ukzoc had finally located her looking directly up; she was floating back down to the ground, but she was missing her left elbow down, her hair was a disaster, caked with blood and dirt.
"You would curse me sister? Of all things to do that's what you choose"
Lynn lands in front of him. Her face calmed as she looked at him before she herself collapsed.
The trio running over to her as they helped her sit up watched as the Symbol on Ukzoc was now just faded.
Kaiser, looking at it, had no idea how she cursed him,but he assumed she sacrificed her arm to stop him.
Lynn looked at Ukzoc as he couldn't move anymore, she smiled as she to had stop him from death, but he still had to be punished.
"I-i sacrificed my Arm and A portion of my life span, 400 years to be exact"
Everyone couldn't believe she sacrificed that much time to stop him, Ukzoc was shocked the most he never expected she would do something so reckless.
"Why….why would you do that?"
Lynn simply smiled widely and he could only stare in disbelief.
"You are my only family left, and I didn't want to kill you, but"
Lynn stood up her legs shaking a bit before she stood strong her eyes filled with conviction.
"I will kill you if I have too, this curse will kill you. What I want is what you will do, your autonomy is gone."
Zoephelia cringed at the implication, no free will, no choice but he can't complain after what he did to the people in this city and his unnamed victims.
Kaiser Though wasn't content with the outcome, they Had a mission to complete, to kill him and He'd be damned if he went back home with another failure.
Manifesting his Sword he points it at Lynn.
"I'm sorry but He has to Die, That's what we came here for and that's going to happen."
Lynn refused to move, Kaiser began to close their distance only to be stopped by Zoephelia.
"As much as I want him to die,Do you think we have the means to kill him? And the only one who could kill him right now is her, she holds his life in her hands for the foreseeable future and he has no choice,let's take our victories where we can".
Kaiser reluctantly put his sword away, and Lynn breathed a sigh of relief, Deakon had laughed not really caring because they stopped him, dead or alive. Kaiser looked around the destroyed area
Lynn had used magic to stop the bleeding on her arm, but she was mostly focused on the punishment For Ukzoc, but she was grateful that he was alive
"I thank you for stopping him, but if need be I will speak to your Queen to make sure she understands you did not fail, these few days."
Kaiser nodded before he began to walk away, waving his hand for the others to follow.
Zoephelia and Deakon shook hands with Lynn, her smile one of gratitude but also exhaustion.
Before they left Zoephelia remembered something.
"Wait, what about Andromeda and your Husband? What will be done with them, surely you aren't going to let them Disappear"
Kaiser didn't stop; he was too concerned with leaving the Golden City, well the slums of it.
"I'll have my Guards find them, after I prune their ranks, and make sure they're loyal only to me"
Zoephelia and Deakon nod as they began to follow Kaiser waving goodbye, the Trio had defeated Ukzoc, kill no but he was no longer a threat.
But other threats had still lurked.
