Jay's Pov
I woke up but it was different, It was warm
and it felt like I have the best comforter around me, I opened my eyes to realise that I was sleeping on Keifer on the couch,
Normally I would have knee jerk reaction to situations like these but this time I had nothing but comfort and looking at face, him sleeping so peacefully while holding me made me smile and admire him,
I lean in a little closer and place a soft kiss on his cheeks making sure that he isn't disturbed by it,
and then I look at the clock and it was almost time for me to wake up so I try to remove his hold on me slowly but he stirs in his sleep and wake up,
Jay: "No, no sleep, I'll just leave" I mutter slowly in attempt to make him so back to sleep,
he looks at me confused and sleep, he scrunch his eyebrows together before he pulls me more onto him,
Jay: "Keifer"
Keifer: "Hmm"
Jay: "What are you doing?"
Keifer: "You told me to sleep"
Jay: "Yeah leave me and sleep"
he opens his eyes again before he actually start speaking, he looks a little scared,
Keifer: "I am sorry did I make you uncomfortable?" he asks with a genuine panic in his face and he try to move and sit up,
I realised he might have understood the situation differently,
Jay: "No, no Keifer" I say taking his hand in mine,
he looks at me now with some relief in his eye and I can see him a bit relaxed,
Jay: "It was time for work, I had to go and get ready"
Keifer: " ohh Okay" he sounded relaxed and I smiled at him,
Jay: "And you have never made me feel uncomfortable" which gives me a smile on his sleepy face,
I get up and start walking to my room when, he starts speaking
Keifer: "Why don't we stay in, you know take a day off."
I turn as I hear him speak and he also moved from the couch and is walking towards me
Jay: "What? Why?"
Keifer: "Because the couple days have been crazy and our emotions were all over the place and we kind of finished an event yesterday" he asked expectedly while taking my hand in his,
Jay: "But today is payment and settlement day, it is the day after the event, it is still chaos around there until settlement is done " I said swinging our hands together,
Keifer: "But please" he asked with a pout like a puppy, my heart melted but I still had work to do, I was torn,
Jay: "Okay how about this, both of us will right the cheques right here and I'll call my assistant to come pick them up and get sign from all the needed documents and we will be done and we don't have to leave home"
Keifer: "Will you be done quickly?"
Jay: "2 hours max, I promise" I said and he flashed a smile again, So I pinched his cheeks and gave him a kiss,
Keifer: "What am I your second grade crush? for you to give me a kiss like this" he asked pulling me by my waist, while I lock my arms around his neck,
Jay: "No, I would kiss my second grade crush like this " I said and placed strong kiss on his cheeks,
and by the time I pulled I realised we were closer than before and our faces were inches apart and he spoke again but still in his morning voice still taking over him, which did something to me,
Keifer: "So how will you kiss your boyfriend?" he asked looking right into my eyes while drawing circles on my waist, sending warmth all over my body,
I gulped but slowly started to lean in and so did he and our lips met in sweet kiss,
we pulled after a little, still feeling a little flustered,
Keifer: "What a sweet way to start my morning" he said and I smacked his chest and pushed him a little and went to my room, while he stood there smiling like a fool,
I went inside to talked to my assistant about my plans and also to bring over the documents that require signatures and then went to take bath and got ready and came out only to be greeted by the breakfast smell,
I went and saw Keifer was cooking in his vest and he was freshly out of shower, I can tell by his mildly wet hair, of course I did stare at for a while before I actually went inside and started speaking to him,
I cleared my throat and he looked up,
Keifer: "Oh, I only made eggs and juice because it turns out we have to do grocery shopping"
Jay: "That's fine"
Keifer: "So what do you say we hit the stores after the work is done"
Jay: "Yeah okay" I don't why but it weirdly felt different by different it means it felt normal and easy and natural , I mean we have been living together for months now, but I don't think we have actually went on a grocery shopping together, I know it was simple task but it felt more intimate,
As I was in my train of thoughts he placed the plate in front of me and said,
Keifer: "Here you go"
Jay: "Thanks" and he joined me
