Whether Scarlett did it on purpose or not, she turned the volume of the movie up really high.
Andrew was so scared that his body trembled from time to time. After shrinking back under the covers for a moment, he would peek out again.
Then, a sudden jump scare would frighten him into ducking back under the covers.
Because of this, their positions under the covers were constantly shifting.
By the time the slasher movie ended, they had ended up in a strange position: Scarlett was lying on Andrew's back, while Andrew lay flat on the bed with his head tucked beneath Scarlett's chest.
This position was truly odd. If a boyfriend and girlfriend were getting intimate, it usually meant the boy would be on top of the girl.
But Scarlett and Andrew were the other way around, stacked on top of each other like building blocks.
"Alright, it's over. Don't be scared anymore."
Scarlett patted Andrew, who was lying beneath her and trembling like a frightened rabbit.
