**Chapter 877: Return from the Void**
**Scene 1: Shield Mind World – Dagon POV**
Shield Mind World.
Dagon POV.
"Uhh, I am dead, definitely this time I guess," Dagon said to the demon dragon emperor.
"Yes, you are. Your physical form is too damaged to return to," the demon dragon emperor said.
"Still I should thank you. You destroyed Skynet and freed my galaxy from his reign," the dragon said.
"Freed is a strong word, half of it is metal," Dagon said.
"Not a problem. A few years of asteroid strikes and solar flares clears the planet and life begins anew," the dragon said.
"Right you guys are immortal god like beings. Oh well, does this mean I get to go to the afterlife or something," Dagon said.
"Nope, you are still needed as for the one who sent you the first time into that galaxy, still needs you so we worked out a deal," the dragon said.
"Why do I feel I would not like this," Dagon groaned.
"Just know after you complete that task a few other galaxies and universes in the multiverse need your help."
Dagon floated in an endless expanse of shifting light and shadow—the Shield Mind World, a realm between life and death where the Wrath Shield's ancient consciousness resided. The air (if it could be called that) hummed with raw power, and the ground beneath him was a mirror of fractured realities.
"Uhh, I am dead, definitely this time I guess," Dagon said, his voice echoing strangely as he addressed the massive spectral form of the demon dragon emperor.
"Yes, you are. Your physical form is too damaged to return to," the demon dragon emperor replied, its voice a deep rumble that vibrated through Dagon's very soul.
Dagon looked down at his translucent hands, the remnants of his body still bearing the scars of Skynet's hooks and the final explosion. "Still, I should thank you. You destroyed Skynet and freed my galaxy from his reign," the dragon said, a note of respect in its ancient tone.
"Freed is a strong word. Half of it is metal," Dagon replied with a weary chuckle, remembering the devastated worlds left in the machine's wake.
"Not a problem. A few years of asteroid strikes and solar flares clears the planet and life begins anew," the dragon said calmly, as if discussing the weather rather than planetary rebirth.
"Right, you guys are immortal god-like beings. Oh well, does this mean I get to go to the afterlife or something," Dagon asked, half hoping for rest after everything he had endured.
"Nope, you are still needed. As for the one who sent you the first time into that galaxy, they still need you, so we worked out a deal," the dragon said, its massive eyes gleaming with otherworldly knowledge.
"Why do I feel I would not like this," Dagon groaned, rubbing his temples as the implications sank in.
"Just know after you complete that task, a few other galaxies and universes in the multiverse need your help," the dragon continued, its voice carrying the weight of eternity.
Dagon sighed, the weight of endless responsibility settling on him once more. Even in death, there was no true escape.
**Scene 2: Jedi Temple – Grandmaster Room**
Jedi Temple, Coruscant.
Grandmaster Room.
The air was solemn as the girls lit a candle for Dagon's death.
A portal suddenly opened.
"Ow, they got to work on that landing," Dagon said as he rose from the floor to the shocked wide-eyed, tear-stained harem.
"Oh, girls, yeah I am still alive. There is much I need to tell you," Dagon said as he was suddenly dogpiled.
"Dagon!" the girls yelled out as they hugged and cried around him.
The Grandmaster's chambers in the Jedi Temple were filled with a heavy, mournful silence. The girls—Ahsoka, Visenya, Zule, Flare, Stella, Kayla, Grace, Shin, Erictia, Aayla, Sakura, Aubrie, Atroxa, Miaria, and Talon—had gathered around a single candle, its flame flickering softly as a symbol of Dagon's memory. Tears streamed down their faces as they remembered the man who had changed their lives and the galaxy.
Zule held her stomach gently, her voice breaking. "He sacrificed everything for us. For our child. How do we go on without him?"
Ahsoka wiped her eyes, trying to stay strong for the others. "He was always the one who came back. This time… this time he didn't."
The air grew thick with grief. Sakura lit another candle, her hands trembling. "We should tell the Council. The galaxy needs to know what he did."
Suddenly, a swirling portal tore open in the center of the room. Dagon stumbled through, landing hard on the floor with a groan.
"Ow, they got to work on that landing," Dagon said, pushing himself up with a tired grin.
The girls stared in shocked silence, their tear-stained faces frozen in disbelief. Then the room erupted.
"Dagon!" they yelled out in unison as they rushed forward, dogpiling him in a chaotic, tearful embrace. Arms wrapped around him from every direction, sobs mixing with laughter as they held him tight.
"You're alive!" Ahsoka cried, burying her face in his shoulder.
Zule kissed his cheek repeatedly, her hands checking for injuries. "Don't you ever do that again! I thought we lost you!"
Visenya hugged him fiercely. "You idiot. You absolute idiot. We thought you were gone forever."
Dagon laughed softly, wrapping his arms around as many of them as he could. "I'm still here. There is much I need to tell you."
The girls refused to let go, their tears soaking his robes as they clung to him. The Grandmaster's chambers, once filled with sorrow, now overflowed with joy and relief.
**Scene 3: Revelations and the Future**
Dagon sat on the edge of the large bed in the Grandmaster's chambers, the girls surrounding him as he recounted everything that had happened in the Maw and beyond. The candle they had lit for his memory still burned softly in the corner, a reminder of how close they had come to losing him.
"I destroyed Skynet's core," Dagon explained, his voice steady. "The machine is gone. Its influence across the galaxies it corrupted is ending. Drones and phase matter beings are powering down as we speak."
Sakura leaned against his shoulder, her eyes wide. "You sacrificed yourself to save us all. Again."
Zule placed a hand on her stomach, smiling through fresh tears. "Our child will grow up with a father. Thank you."
Ahsoka punched his arm lightly. "Next time, you take us with you. No more lone hero nonsense."
Dagon chuckled, pulling her closer. "I promise. No more dying without you."
The girls shared stories of the chaos in the Senate and the Temple after the feed went dark. Obi-Wan and Cin had been preparing for the worst, while the galaxy watched in stunned silence.
"They thought you were dead," Miaria said, her tail wrapping around his waist. "The whole Republic is in mourning."
Dagon's expression grew serious. "Skynet is gone, but there's more. The one who sent me here still needs me. There are other galaxies, other universes that need help. This isn't over."
The girls exchanged determined glances. "Then we go with you," Aayla said firmly. "Wherever you go, we go."
Dagon smiled, pulling them all closer. "Together. Always together."
The Grandmaster's chambers filled with warmth and hope as the family reunited. The war was over, but a new journey was beginning—one they would face as one.
