Chapter 907 - Chapter 866

**Chapter 866: Synthetic Stars and Moff Dossiers**

**Scene 1: Mern-13 Headquarters – Dagon POV**

Dagon sat in his private office at Mern-13 headquarters, the Coruscant skyline stretching endlessly beyond the reinforced windows. The Sith holocron floated before him, its ancient runes glowing with dark energy as he reviewed the knowledge it contained.

The Sith holocron revealed that the Sith, having lost access to natural crystal deposits, discovered they could create synthetic crystals imbued with dark side energy in specialized furnaces. These devices were better known as geological compressors—a technology that emerged approximately ten thousand years ago. The compressor's original purpose was to replicate the geological conditions of distant worlds in a laboratory setting, and it was easily adapted to create synthetic crystals simply by mimicking the geological processes that create crystals. The raw materials from which the crystals were made were readily available: minerals with a high concentration of carbon. Raw minerals were placed in the machine and essentially left to bake for a period of twenty-four hours to four days, during which the gifted crafting the crystal would meditate on it with the Force, guiding its formation. This level of control over the process allowed them to create crystals that best suited their needs. However, the holocron described the possibility of creating a mass-produced version of the crystals for users.

Darth Sion, the Lord of Pain, was a Sith Lord who lived in the time of the Old Sith Wars. As a Sith Marauder in the Great Sith War, Sion fought for Exar Kun's Sith Empire until the day he was struck down. Rather than die, though, Sion found that by calling on his pain, anger, and hatred, he could rise from certain death and achieve immortality, at the cost of all-consuming agony. With a body fractured and decomposing, held together only by the dark side of the Force, Sion survived the Great Sith War. His holocron was incredibly useful as I managed to create enough crystals to power a secretly built new squadron and class of fighters powered by the 1st generation completed of dark troopers.

Annihilator-class starfighter was a type of starfighter manufactured by the One Sith. They were triangular in shape, and according to status of kyber, faster and more maneuverable than any other fighter of the time. Through the dark side, the pilot and ship would become one, and the fighters carried enough fire power to breach a Star Destroyer.

4 twin heavy kyber powered heavy blaster cannons.

2 electromagnetic pulse cannon kyber powered launchers.

Originally developed 130 years by Darth Krayt and One Sith. I decided to build it now.

Dagon deactivated the holocron, the ancient device settling onto his desk with a soft click. The knowledge it contained was invaluable. The geological compressors allowed the creation of synthetic kyber crystals infused with dark side energy. With enough of them, he could power a new generation of fighters—the Annihilator-class starfighters. Triangular, incredibly fast and maneuverable, these craft would bond with their pilots through the dark side, carrying enough firepower to breach even a Star Destroyer.

He had already begun secret production. The first squadron would be ready soon, crewed by the first generation of dark troopers. The war was entering a new phase, and these weapons would give the Republic the edge it needed.

**Scene 2: Moff Dossiers – Dagon POV**

I inserted the information carrier into the datapad and began to read.

As Supreme Commander, I understood that the most important thing was my subordinates. And the Moffs were the most important here, as they were the ones who commanded the twenty Sector Armies.

I knew most of them, some well, others just casually. A few I didn't know at all. And information is everything. Especially in light of the future. If everything goes according to Arden's plan, I'll need their support. But getting it won't be easy. After all, some of the Moffs are Palpatine's supporters and protégés, some hail from the Justice Corps, others are protégés of planetary governments and Senate factions. And knowing all of them is vital. The former need to be convinced that I'm some kind of replacement for Palpatine, or his deputy. The latter need to be convinced of my views. The third would benefit from being replaced, but lobbying is part of this machine, and going against the tide will be incredibly difficult.

That's why I needed dossiers on the Moffs and the most prominent general-admirals of the VAR.

"So let's run through the list and then we'll dive into the details."

First Sector. Dicemius Trachta. I know him well; we have a friendly, working relationship. He essentially supports me, but he's Palpatine's protégé. Although in canon, having suffered at the hands of the fallen Jedi, he rebelled when he learned of the Emperor's "gift," I can't hope for the same, since I unwittingly changed those events. But I can count on Trachta.

Second Sector. Fliri Vorru. Part of the so-called "SSP"—the Gathering of Old Farts, a group of high-ranking officers from the Justice Corps and planetary armed forces who were conservatives and bureaucrats. In my opinion, they were more of a hindrance to the army and navy than a help, but they had connections and influence, and it would be difficult to dislodge them. Vorru was a typical representative of this group.

Third Sector. Moff Chester Seerdon. He wasn't Palpatine's protégé, and wasn't part of the SSP but rather a neutral. I knew him and had an even relationship with him.

Fourth. Vasp Praji. I met him at Trachta's, and he was "Palpatine's man."

Fifth. Moff Josef Gunn. Also a young talent, from Palpatine's protégé group. I'm acquainted with him too, and everything is fine.

The sixth is Serge Vebln. A rather talented "neutral" who treats me quite well.

Seventh. Bell Nevix. He was a member of the Justice Corps and followed the SSP's course, but he's getting old, and word is he'll be leaving the service in a couple of months. Interesting options are starting to emerge here.

Eighth Sector. Moff Michael Sol. A neutral with whom I worked closely during the assault on Mygeeto. After my successful operation, his shaky position has been strengthened, so I can count on his support in turn.

Ninth. Daniel Wessex. A prominent representative of the SSP. I don't know him, as I didn't fight in this Sector.

Tenth is Deng Taniel. Another member of the SSP but not as radical in his views as his colleagues.

Eleventh. Rafan Vancil. Former admiral of the Justice Corps, protégé of the senators. Member of the SSP and a rather problematic figure.

Twelfth. Iius Terbonne. I know him well, as I began my military service in his area of responsibility. Despite his advanced age—sixty-two at the moment—and the fact that he was a member of the Justice Corps, Terbonne did not adhere to the views of the SSP and was not a member of their group. I can count on his support.

Sector Thirteen. Moff Andre Baylur. A rather shady character, not personally, but in terms of his views. I couldn't determine which camp he belongs to. And judging by the length, the report on him is extremely meager. It seems I'll have to figure it out as I go.

Fourteenth Sector. Moff Anatole Ravik. Another young military leader from Palpatine's ranks. I met him at Trachta and can count on a good relationship.

Fifteenth. Narumiya Kintaro. I know him only superficially, but I've heard he's quite fond of me and respects me for my military successes. I can work with that.

Sixteenth. Moff Landers Coy. A Justice Corps alumnus and another member of the SSP.

Seventeenth. Lynch Hauser. A supporter of Palpatine, it's difficult to judge his attitude towards me.

Eighteenth. Wilhoff Tarkin. A flamboyant protégé of Palpatine, but one who served under me. Quite successful militarily, and cooperating with him is possible—but with caution.

The Nineteenth Sector. It's currently commanded by Moff Sulamar, a neutral, but he's likely facing dismissal for his recent failures. His replacement remains unclear; consultations and behind-the-scenes squabbling are ongoing. Perhaps, using my authority, I can intervene in this matter.

Twentieth Sector. A couple of weeks ago, the previous Moff was replaced by the young Octavian Grant, one of the Republic's most prominent admirals. A man of his own, he supports Palpatine. But as far as I remember, much later, after Endor, he surrendered his armies and fleet to the New Republic, receiving some preferential treatment in return, so his support is far from ideal, more of a sham.

"Officially I have enough information to go to the Senate and re-establish the Republic as an empire," Dagon said as he activated the communicator for the girls to meet him in the Senate.

Dagon closed the datapad, the weight of the dossiers settling over him. The Moffs were the backbone of the Sector Armies. Their loyalty—or lack thereof—would determine whether the transition to a Jedi-led Republic would be smooth or bloody. Some were allies, others obstacles, and a few wild cards he would need to watch closely.

He stood, preparing to meet the girls. The Senate awaited, and with it, the future of the galaxy.

**Scene 3: Senate Preparations**

The Senate building loomed ahead as Dagon and the girls arrived. The leaked files had thrown the chamber into chaos, but the time for debate was ending. Dagon's plan was simple—use the evidence to justify a new order, with the Jedi at its head.

The girls walked beside him, their presence a source of strength. "Are you ready for this?" Sakura asked quietly.

Dagon nodded. "The Republic needs strong leadership. The Senate has proven it can't provide it. This is the only way forward."

The girls exchanged glances but said nothing. They understood the necessity, even if they didn't fully agree with the method.

As they entered the Senate, the weight of history pressed down on them. The Republic was about to change forever.
