Chapter 882 - Chapter 844

**Chapter 844: Prophetic Shadows**

Resurgent-class Battlecruiser meraxes hyperspace

**Scene 1: Ahsoka's Dream – The Beast Awakens**

Here again, Ahsoka thought. What is the Force's problem? She can't do anything.

"This is war. It's no different from any other war. Nothing's changed, nothing I can't handle, NOTHING." Ahsoka watched as Dagon evolved through the years fighting until he became this galaxy version—the demon of the shield.

I hate this, Ahsoka kept saying.

The dreamscape shifted violently, pulling her through fragmented memories and futures that blurred together like blood in water. She saw Dagon as he had been in the early days—ruthless, driven, a force of nature carving through Skynet's machines on a distant world. Then the evolution: the Wrath Shield forming around him, the Scepter of Ragnos glowing in his hand, the dark energy of the beast rising like a shadow behind his every step.

Scene shifts.

"Destiny... destiny... destiny... destiny... SHUT THE HELL UP! How 'bout you save your high and mighty crap for after I've been haunted to death, skullface? Sacrifice? Offering? Destiny? Quit spoutin' out a bunch of cryptic explanations! The point is, this is war! It ain't different from any other war! The last one standing wins! Listen here! I'm beatin' all a' you back down to Hell! Tell those ugly pale-faced bastards for me! If I get hit, I will hit back! Tell 'em leavin' me half-eaten is gonna be the end of you! I'll hunt and kill all those wretched monsters... and all of you... DOWN TO THE LAST ONE! THIS IS... MY DECLARATION OF WAR!" Dagon said on Ruusan when he freed the souls of the thought bomb.

The Beast of Darkness spoke, its voice a guttural rumble that echoed through Ahsoka's bones.

"In this world some people born are like keys that move the world and exist having no connection to the social hierarchy established by man."

"The thing about hatred... It's the place where people who can't look sorrow in the eye without waverin' run off to." The beast spoke.

Let go. Let go of everything. "If you are afraid of the beast... don't look. If you don't fight... you won't survive." "You killed, you slayed, you murderer, you! Babies, and infants, and children too! ... And all that blood creates the Beast! It tears all of the things you love apart!" Scene shifts.

A memory—no, this is recent.

Randon during the diplomatic mission.

Dagon just killed Asajj Ventress then.

'Green lightning and fire.'

Vision shifts.

Ahsoka sees bodies. White wedding dresses, covered in peach flowers and blood.

Ahsoka sees Riyo Chuchi, then herself, then every girl in Dagon's harem.

'How? It can't be. How did he see this unless…' Ahsoka said as she turned.

"The future is predetermined," a dark side Ahsoka told Dagon.

"Nooo!" Dagon screamed.

The dream fractured, the beast's laughter echoing as Ahsoka was pulled through visions of fire and loss. She saw Dagon standing alone on a battlefield of corpses, the Wrath Shield cracked and bleeding dark energy. The harem—her sisters, her loves—lay broken around him, their bodies adorned in white as if for a wedding turned funeral. Peach blossoms drifted in the wind, stained with blood.

Ahsoka reached out, screaming silently, but the Force pulled her away. The beast watched her with glowing eyes, whispering prophecies of inevitable doom.

**Scene 2: Awakening and Revelation**

Ahsoka woke up, not screaming. She was with Flare, Stella, and Kayla, the three of them curled around her in the shared quarters aboard the *meraxes*. The room was dimly lit, the hum of the ship's engines a constant, grounding presence. Ahsoka sat up slowly, her montrals twitching as the remnants of the dream clung to her like smoke.

Flare stirred first, her Pantoran skin glowing faintly in the low light. "Ahsoka? Another one?"

Stella and Kayla sat up as well, their Zeltron features etched with concern. The three women gathered closer, forming a protective circle around their sister.

"The visions are not for us protecting Dagon," Ahsoka said quietly, her voice steady despite the tremor in her heart, "but Dagon protecting us."

She then explained everything to the girls. The dream began with Dagon's evolution—the demon of the shield rising from years of brutal conflict. She recounted the Ruusan declaration, Dagon's furious defiance against destiny itself. The Beast of Darkness had spoken of hatred as a refuge, of letting go, of the blood that created the monster within him.

Then the recent memory on Randon—Dagon killing Asajj Ventress, green lightning and fire consuming the battlefield. And finally, the prophetic vision: bodies in white wedding dresses, covered in peach flowers and blood. Riyo Chuchi, herself, every girl in the harem—dead.

"How? It can't be. How did he see this unless…" Ahsoka had said in the dream as she turned.

"The future is predetermined," a dark side version of herself had told Dagon.

"Nooo!" Dagon had screamed.

The girls listened in silence, their expressions shifting from concern to horror to grim determination.

Flare reached out, squeezing Ahsoka's hand. "That vision… it's not set in stone. Dagon's changed the future before. We all have."

Stella nodded, her analytical mind already turning. "The Beast is part of him—the darkness he carries from Skynet, from the mind prison, from every battle. But he fights it. Every day. These visions might be warnings, not prophecies."

Kayla, ever the emotional heart of the Zeltrons, wiped a tear from her eye. "He's protecting us. That's what the dreams are showing. He sees the pain coming and he's trying to shield us from it. But he can't do it alone. Not anymore."

Ahsoka took a deep breath, the weight of the visions settling on her shoulders. "We need to tell the others. All the girls. And Dagon. At the end of this offensive. When we're together again. He needs to know what the Force is showing me. We can't keep this from him."

The three women nodded in agreement, their bond—forged through love, war, and shared secrets—strengthening in the face of the darkness ahead.

"We'll face it together," Flare said softly. "As we always have."

**Scene 3: The Weight of Visions**

The conversation stretched long into the early hours. Ahsoka recounted every detail—the Beast's taunts, the Ruusan declaration, the blood-soaked wedding dresses, the prophetic warning from her dark-side self. The girls listened, their faces pale but resolute.

Stella leaned against the wall, arms crossed. "If the future is predetermined, then why show us? The Force doesn't waste visions. This is a warning. Dagon's darkness is growing, but so is his power to protect us. We have to trust him—and help him control it."

Kayla hugged her knees to her chest. "I hate seeing him like that. Alone. Carrying everything. But he's not alone anymore. We're his family. His harem. His strength."

Flare nodded. "We tell the others when this offensive ends. All of us—Aubrie, Talon, Miaria, Zule, everyone. And then we tell Dagon. Together. No more secrets."

Ahsoka felt a weight lift slightly from her chest. The visions still haunted her, but sharing them with her sisters made them bearable. The Force had shown her the darkness, but it had also shown her the light—the bond they all shared.

As the *meraxes* continued its journey through hyperspace toward the next phase of the operation, the four women curled together once more, drawing strength from each other. The war raged on, but their love—for Dagon, for each other—remained an unbreakable shield against the coming storm.
