Chapter 844 - Chapter 808 : Retake the initiative part 5

**Chapter 808: Passion's Edge**

**Scene 1: Orbit Above Kartao – Nova Rocket Mode**

Rage. Pain. Suffering.

Those thoughts roared through Dagon Marek's mind like a supernova as he hovered in the void, the Wrath Shield's Nova Rocket Mode thrumming with dark side power around his armored form. The sith-forged systems fed on every emotion bleeding through the soul bond—his harem's distant pleasures on Kuat twisted into fuel for the machine. Normally, such intimate echoes would bring warmth, connection. Not here. Not with this armor.

*Warb Null designed it too well,* Dagon thought bitterly, the faceplate's distorted reflection of Kartao's blue star glaring back at him. *'Peace is a lie, there is only passion.' Any emotional data gets weaponized. Bloodlust becomes clarity. Desire becomes destruction.*

It was a double-edged curse. The mimic memory protocols kept the girls from sensing the full storm inside him—they simply registered heightened focus, a "decent understanding" of the battlefield. Enjoyable in its raw power. Hell in its isolation. But right now, with the Separatist reinforcements bearing down on the Spaarti facilities below, it was exactly what he needed.

A massive Bulwark Mark I battlecruiser loomed ahead, its ellipsoid hull bristling with turbolasers as it lumbered to support the enemy line. Dagon's cannon arm hummed, dark side energy coiling like a living thing. He fired.

The blast lanced forward, a concentrated beam of wrath-fueled plasma that punched straight through the cruiser's reinforced armor. Secondary explosions rippled along its length as reactor banks overloaded. The 2-kilometer behemoth broke apart in a silent, fiery cataclysm, debris tumbling toward Kartao's atmosphere like burning meteors.

**Scene 2: The Void Battle – Starfighter Engagement**

"Enemy fleet composition confirmed," Admiral Kinaun's voice crackled over the comms from the *Daring*. "Twelve Munificent-class frigates, eight Recusant-class heavy destroyers, ten Lucrehulk-class battleships Type A, six Bulwark Mark I battlecruisers, eight Nova-class cruisers. Mon Cala reinforcements—four MC75 star cruisers and B-wing squadrons incoming. Hapan elements mixed in their escort wings."

Dagon's scanners painted the picture clearly. The CIS had committed hard to this raid, hoping to cripple the Republic's accelerated cloning operations on Kartao. "All wings, engage. TIE Defenders, prioritize those B-wings. Venators, focus fire on the Lucrehulks. Pull the line tight—don't let them slip toward the surface."

Clone pilots responded with crisp affirmatives. From the *Vector*-class *Daring*'s hangars, squadrons of TIE Defenders screamed into the black, their ion engines glowing.

"Blue Leader, this is Defender One," a veteran clone commed, voice steady under fire. "Those B-wings are sluggish in the turn but hit like cruisers. Forming intercept pattern."

The B-wings—sleek, S-foils locked in attack position—charged alongside Hapan Miy'til fighters. Their heavy laser cannons and proton torpedo tubes lit up the void. One Defender took a glancing hit, shields flaring, but the Republic counter was merciless.

"They're banking hard—watch the ion cannons!" another clone shouted. "Defender Three, on your six!"

A B-wing pilot, a Quarren with tentacles twitching in his cockpit, snarled over open channels. "Republic dogs! You'll pay for Raxus!" His torpedoes streaked out, only for a TIE Defender's cluster missiles to detonate them mid-flight. The Defender's pilot, CT-4721 "Rook," locked on. "Target acquired. For the Supreme Commander."

Green laser fire from the Defender's cannons raked the B-wing's hull. The Quarren's screams cut short as the fighter exploded in a brilliant flash. Nearby, a Hapan pilot in a crimson Miy'til—loyal to the Queen Mother's alliance with Dooku—tried to evade, only to be bracketed by two Defenders.

"Pull up! Shields failing—" Her transmission died in static as concentrated fire tore through her cockpit. The elegant fighter spun away, trailing debris.

"Mon Cala and Hapan forces neutralized in sector four," Rook reported, satisfaction evident. "B-wings are breaking. Push the advantage!"

Dagon watched from his armored vantage, the dark side whispering approval as more enemy fighters vanished. The counter to the B-wing's heavy firepower was speed and numbers—the TIE Defenders danced through their formation, exploiting the slower bombers' lack of agility.

**Scene 3: Titan Nova Fusion – Wrath Unbound**

*There's something I've wanted to test,* Dagon thought, the amplified rage pushing him forward. *If I'm going to dive into blue supergiants for kyber, I need to know the limits.*

"Wrath Shield Titan, Nova," he commanded.

The armor surged. Plates expanded and realigned in a cataclysmic reconfiguration. Dark side energy flooded every servo as his form ballooned outward—1,300 meters of unstoppable wrath, a towering fusion of Titan's raw bulk and Nova's explosive potential. Still agile despite the scale, propelled by thrusters that left trails of crimson lightning.

He drew the massive dark side-forged sword, its edge humming with contained supernova fury. A Lucrehulk-class battleship turned to face him, its hangar bays spilling vulture droids in a desperate swarm. Dagon swung.

The blade sheared through the half-donut hull like it was tissue. The Lucrehulk split apart in a blooming explosion, droids and crew vaporized in the shockwave.

"All pilots, pull back!" Dagon boomed over the fleet comms, his voice distorted into something primordial. "This is my turn."

The giant armor lit up like a mobile weapons platform. Missile pods unfolded across shoulders and torso, dark side-charged warheads streaking out in salvos. CIWS turrets spun, shredding incoming droid fighters. Heavy cannons on the arms fired in rhythm with his thoughts, each blast a focused burst of wrath that annihilated frigates and cruisers alike.

A Mon Cala MC75 tried to flee, engines flaring as it dove toward hyperspace coordinates. Dagon's colossal hand lashed out, fingers closing around the cruiser's midsection. The ship bucked in his grip, shields shattering under the pressure.

"No escape," he growled. The armor's primary cannon charged on his free arm, dark energy coalescing into a point of annihilating light. One shot. One kill.

The beam punched through the MC75's bridge and reactor core. The cruiser detonated in his grasp, the blast washing harmlessly over his Titan Nova plating.

Debris fields expanded around Kartao as the last enemy ships broke or surrendered. Below, the Spaarti facilities remained untouched, their defensive screens holding.

Dagon felt the rage ebb slightly as the battle concluded, the armor's systems cycling down. The harem's distant pleasures still echoed, but now they mixed with relief and pride through the bond.

*One more world secured,* he thought, beginning his descent toward the surface. *The war turns faster now.*

The girls would sense the victory soon enough. For now, the Dragon had bought them time—and reminded the galaxy why he was called the Demon of the Shield.
