Chapter 841 - Chapter 805 : Retake the initiative part 3

**Chapter 805: Ukio Secured**

**Scene 1: Ukio Surface – Patrol Routes**

The surface of Ukio was a verdant paradise of rolling fields and carefully cultivated farmland, now scarred by the brief but intense fighting. Republic forces moved swiftly to consolidate control after the orbital victory. The new Aratech 112 Patrol Speeder proved exceptionally effective against the scattered enemy security forces and droid remnants still holding out in the countryside.

The heavy armored plates on the Patrol Speeder not only provided protection to the vehicle and its occupants but also acted as control surfaces at high speed, allowing it to nearly match the maneuverability of speeder bikes used by Scout Troopers. It was a perfect hybrid — fast, heavily armed, and ideal for lightning strikes and patrol work in occupied territory.

Clone troopers of the 13th Legion zipped across the fields in squads of these speeders, cutting down B1 and B2 droids that attempted to regroup. Blaster fire from the quad heavy laser cannons tore through droid formations, while the speeders' agility let them dodge return fire from isolated security outposts.

"These things handle like a dream!" one trooper shouted over comms as his speeder banked sharply around a burning droid walker. "Way better than the old 74-Zs. Gunner, light up that patrol ahead!"

"Copy that! Quad cannons hot!" The turret spun and unleashed a storm of heavy laser fire, vaporizing a squad of battle droids attempting to set up a defensive line near a grain silo.

The speeders worked well. Within hours, most remaining droid resistance on the surface had been neutralized or forced into surrender. Ukio's fertile fields would soon feed Republic worlds once more.

**Scene 2: Ukio Capital Outskirts – Assault on Sashasa**

Six massive Juggernaut tanks stood like iron titans outside the capital city of Sashasa, their heavy cannons trained on the remaining defenses. Warden dropships hovered overhead, ready to deploy troops the moment the path was clear.

"AV-7s, open fire!" came the order.

A dozen AV-7 cannons roared to life, their heavy plasma bolts hammering the enemy positions. TIE Punishers led the air attack, screaming overhead and dropping precision ordnance that eliminated the weak remaining air defenses. Explosions bloomed across the outskirts as anti-air emplacements were silenced.

Jet pack armored commandos — elite Republic troops drawn from various legions — rocketed forward in the vanguard. Some carried the Archer Heavy Rocket launcher, a devastating weapon that fired a powerful homing cluster of four rockets at the target, exploding on impact with massive area damage.

"Archer teams, target those Magnaguards!" one commando sergeant barked. "Lock and send!"

Four rockets streaked from a launcher, curving unerringly toward a squad of elite droids. The cluster detonated in a thunderous blast, shredding the Magnaguards into scrap.

Others wielded the Lastimosa Armory Assault Rifle (L-STAR), a fully automatic particle-accelerating light machine gun. It fired red particle bolts at a moderate speed. Targets hit by the weapon would have swirling red energy around them for moments, and if killed, their bodies would explode as if struck by a grenade. It was brutally effective against both organics and droids — especially the new commando droids and assassin droids the Confederacy had begun producing as standard.

"Contact front! Assassin droids on the ridge!" a commando shouted, unleashing a sustained burst from his L-STAR. Red bolts ripped through the droids, causing several to detonate violently in showers of sparks and shrapnel.

Then Dagon arrived.

"Sun Breathing: Raging Sun, Eternal," he intoned, his Wrath Shield armor shifting into a combat-ready configuration. He delivered a powerful downward slash, then relentlessly attacked while advancing, knocking enemies back with a vertical strike. With a front flip and a dash, he traced an infinity sign with his blade, the dark side energy amplifying every cut.

In moments, Dagon carved through ninety Magnaguards and thirty Grievous-pattern clones. His movements were a whirlwind of precision and overwhelming power, leaving only scrap and silence in his wake.

"Keep pushing!" a jet pack commando yelled. "The Supreme Commander's cleared the path — move, move, move!"

The Warden dropships descended, disgorging fresh troops as the Juggernauts rolled forward to support the final push into the capital.

**Scene 3: Ukio Royal Palace – Sashasa**

**Dagon POV**

The royal palace of Ukio was surprisingly modest for a world so vital to the Republic's food supply. I strode through the shattered entrance, my armor still humming with residual dark side energy from the battle. The old man — Overliege Topas dosLa — stood trembling before me, surrounded by frightened aides.

"You are in charge here?" I questioned, my voice distorted by the mask.

"You have no right— ahh!" The man screamed as I struck him with a controlled burst of Force lightning, just enough to incapacitate without killing.

"Secure the palace and neutralize anyone who resists," I ordered calmly.

"Sir, yes sir!" came the unified response from the commanders on site. ARC Commander Appo of the 501st, ARC Commander Plasma of the 13th Legion, and ARC Marshal Commander Havoc of the 765th Armored Corps moved out with their troops, efficiently sweeping the building.

As the clones moved to secure the planet, I began planning the next moves. Ukio was now firmly under Republic control. With the Triellus Trade Route severed here, the CIS supply lines into Hutt Space were crippled. This world would serve as an excellent forward base for further operations.

I activated a secure comm channel. "Valentra, Ukio is ours. Begin fortification and food shipments to the Core immediately. Inform the Senate that the Hutt Highway is closed to Separatist traffic."

The war was turning decisively in our favor. One world at a time.
