**Chapter 787: Strike on Raxus**
**Scene 1: Jedi Temple – Grandmaster Chambers, Coruscant**
**Dagon POV**
The final preparations were complete.
I stood in the center of the Grandmaster's chambers, the girls gathered around me in a loose circle. The mood was tense but focused — we all knew this was the beginning of the endgame.
"Wrath Shield, Rocket Nova," I yelled.
The armor surged to life around me. Plates expanded and reshaped with a deep mechanical hum, dark energy crackling along the seams. The Wrath Shield entered its most devastating configuration yet — a fusion of Rocket and Nova modes. The armor grew rapidly, towering to a full **19 meters** in height. It resembled the legendary ZGMF/A-262PD-P Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam in its majestic, heavily armed form: broad shoulders mounted with massive thrusters, sweeping wing-like stabilizers glowing with dark side energy, and an array of devastating weaponry unfolding across the frame.
**Armament:**
- **Dark Side Beam Cannon "Disruptor"** — a colossal chest-mounted cannon capable of firing concentrated Wrath energy beams that could punch through capital ship shields.
- **2 x Dark Side Wrath Shield CIWS** — close-in weapon systems that fired rapid bursts of corrupted lightning and micro-missiles.
- **3 Impulse Guns** — high-output beam weaponry for precision strikes.
- **2 x Beam Shields** — energy barriers projected from the forearms.
- **2 x Beam Sabers** — massive plasma blades extending from the wrists.
- **2 x Railguns** — shoulder-mounted kinetic weapons for devastating long-range firepower.
The girls stepped back, awe and pride in their eyes as the colossal armored form stabilized. Thrusters flared with dark energy as I tested the flight systems.
"I'll meet you on the *Olympus Mons*," I said, voice distorted through the armor's vox. "Stay safe. Stick to the formation we planned."
Ahsoka gave a sharp nod. "We'll be right behind you, Master."
With a burst of thrusters, I launched through the open hangar doors of the Temple, streaking across Coruscant's skyline like a dark comet toward the waiting fleet in orbit.
**Scene 2: Coruscant Orbit – Bridge of the Olympus Mons**
**Clone Commander Strike POV**
"All weapons ready," a clone officer reported crisply.
"All systems green," another confirmed.
The bridge of the massive *Olympus Mons* strike carrier hummed with controlled energy. The ship was one of the most advanced in the Republic fleet — heavily modified, heavily armed, and now serving as Supreme Commander Marek's personal flagship for this lightning strike.
"Begin jump to Raxus Secundus," Dagon's voice came over the comms, calm and commanding even through the armor link.
"Jump in 3… 2… 1…" the navigation officer counted down.
A brilliant blue glow enveloped the *Olympus Mons* and the accompanying fleet as the hyperdrive engines activated. The stars stretched into lines, and the task force vanished into hyperspace.
**Fleet Composition:**
- 10 Silencer-equipped Venators
- 18 Bothan Assault Cruisers
- 8 Allegiance-class heavy cruisers
- 2 Resurgent-class battlecruisers
- 8 Nebula-class Star Destroyers
It was a compact but terrifyingly powerful strike group — built for speed, overwhelming firepower, and surgical precision.
**Scene 3: Hyperspace – En Route to Raxus Secundus**
**Dagon POV**
"Our target is the enemy fleet and to breach their orbital shield before they notice," I said, standing tall in the center of the *Olympus Mons* bridge. The 19-meter armor dominated the space, yet the crew moved around it with practiced ease.
"To achieve this, the jump will take us directly into the planet's atmosphere as designed. Remember — weapons hot. Ethan, you know what to do," I addressed my combat droid.
"Yes, sir. I live for a good gunfight. Come on, marines," Ethan replied, racking the slide on his heavy rifle. A squad of elite Republic commandos and reprogrammed battle droids formed up behind him, ready for immediate deployment.
The girls had boarded their assigned ships and were coordinating with the fleet. I could feel them through the bond — steady, determined, and ready for war.
This strike was meant to be decisive. Hit Raxus hard, shatter their political center, and force the CIS to react on our terms.
**Scene 4: Raxus Secundus – Raxulon, Separatist Senate Building**
Raxulon was the capital city of Raxus Secundus. The Separatist Senate Building — also known as the Separatist Parliament Building — dominated the skyline, a symbol of the Confederacy's fragile unity.
"We must sue for peace," Senator Mina Bonteri said firmly, standing at the center of the chamber. "We have lost our very purpose in this war."
"Peace? After everything that has been done so far?" Separatist Congress Leader Bec Lawise shot back. "The Republic wants blood, and our heads are on the line."
"And whose fault is that?" Mina countered. "The damage during the peace conference, the plague, the bio-weapons — all Dooku's faults and the corporations'. We must—"
A deafening boom shook the entire building. The lights flickered violently. Droids throughout the chamber suddenly powered down, collapsing where they stood.
Through the massive transparisteel windows, the senators watched in horror as a colossal ship — the *Olympus Mons* — materialized directly in the atmosphere above the city. Its massive silhouette blotted out the sky. Thousands of speeders and civilian transports lost power instantly, crashing down as an EMP wave rippled outward from the strike carrier.
Hundreds of drop pods and landing craft began raining from the *Olympus Mons* like falling stars. Republic forces were already deploying.
"Impossible!" Bec Lawise gasped. "They jumped straight into the atmosphere?!"
Mina Bonteri's face paled. "It's him… Dagon Marek. The Dragon has come to Raxus."
Alarms screamed across the city. Separatist defense forces scrambled, but the surprise was total. The orbital fleet above Raxus was still reeling from the sudden appearance of the Republic strike group that had bypassed their outer pickets.
On the bridge of the *Olympus Mons*, Dagon's armored form turned toward the viewport.
"Begin the assault," he ordered, voice cold and resolute. "Target the Senate complex and key command nodes. No unnecessary civilian casualties — but make them understand that the war has come home."
The Dragon of the Republic had arrived.
And Raxus Secundus would never be the same.
---
The *Olympus Mons* opened fire with its Silencer arrays and heavy turbolasers, carving glowing lines across the sky as Republic forces poured into the city. Bothan Assault Cruisers and Venators engaged the surprised Separatist fleet in orbit, while ground forces under Ethan and the girls secured landing zones.
Dagon launched from the hangar in his colossal Wrath Shield Rocket Nova form, soaring over the panicked capital like a dark angel of judgment. Beam cannons charged with dark side energy, railguns tracking targets, and thrusters blazing as he descended toward the Senate Building.
The Confederacy's political heart was under direct attack — and the Dragon had no intention of leaving until their will to fight was broken.
