**Chapter 765: Breaking Point**
**Scene 1: Mygeeto – Capital City of Jigat**
The city was burning.
The thin layer of snow that had recently lain here and there was now dusted with ash, blown away by explosions or melted by flames. War had come to Jigat, disrupting the usual order of things.
Although just a few hours ago, everything had seemed much rosier. Yes, the planet was under siege and the enemy had occupied several cities — but it had cost them heavy losses. And what was certain was that they wouldn't take the capital. It was reliably defended. Millions of droids and nearly four hundred thousand militiamen constituted a formidable force, guarding the peace of the city. Otherwise, everything was as usual. Morning had arrived — and the workers hurried to the mines and factories. Mothers took their children to school, then headed to their jobs. Other workers and engineers who had worked the night shift hurried to their apartments to get a good rest: in the evening, it was their turn to work again.
Mygeeto was renowned for its crystals, used in various industries. But its primary customers were military production. Blasters, lasers, and turbolasers required high-quality crystals. And Mygeeto, as a member of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, supplied them to numerous Baktoid and Techno Union factories. Kilometer-long shafts bored into the basalt slabs led to caves whose walls were strewn with crystals. Of course, not all of them were suitable for weapons. Most were completely useless; even jewelry made from them would fetch mere pennies on the market.
But the planet was rich in crystals, and although local conditions made mining difficult, this didn't deter the Muuns. Cities grew on the sites of the first mines. Thousands of sentient beings arrived on the planet, beginning to live and work there, provided with everything they needed.
And now the Republic wanted this planet in its grasp. The enemy had been laying siege to the planet for weeks. And it seemed the defenders were doomed. Then the skies burst into flames — and the shield that had reliably protected Jigat collapsed, allowing enemy dropships to pass unhindered. The Republic's merciless clone troopers flooded the city, seemingly advancing from all sides and all directions.
But the command was in no hurry to issue orders to repel the assault. No one knew what to do. Soon, rumors began to spread through the corridors and squares, through workshops and factories, through barricades and barriers: the commander had been killed by saboteurs. The command center had been blown up.
**Scene 2: Devastation – Command Operations**
And although there wasn't much progress on the surface, Lee Noriega and Sumeragi were refining defensive tactics, and even, as I once noticed, simulating the deployment of something like a quickly erected line of fortifications consisting of various modules. But they didn't forget about the fleet either. Escorting convoys, scheduling shipments, planning patrols of nearby systems, developing strategies to counter the pirates and smugglers who had become increasingly numerous lately... The fun was in full swing.
Among other things, they were tasked with administering the already captured cities — repairing damage, organizing production, distributing food supplies among the residents, maintaining order. All of this fell on our shoulders, as it was premature to talk of establishing republican order — we had only captured four cities; but we couldn't just let things slide.
Contrary to headquarters' predictions, the capital's defenders' resistance continued unabated. Although the militia's attacks had become less vicious and brutal, the droids remained just as assertive. And the systems army's headquarters had to continually devise new ways to contain these attacks. The initiative of the clone commanders alone was no longer sufficient to successfully wage the war. Moreover, judging by the enemy's actions, someone quite experienced had assumed command.
Unfortunately, I needed Mygeeto to reach its breaking point.
**Scene 3: Skies Above Jigat – Dagon POV**
*Uhh, an organic or a few was on that ship. No matter, they were Separatists,* I thought as I watched the new upgraded tech with the SPHA permanently mounted on the Venator — an experiment I was calling the Silencer project.
"Wrath Shield, Fusion Rocket Nova," I shouted.
The armor shifted and expanded around me, becoming larger and much more heavily armored. A full face mask deployed, sealing with a hiss. Multiple guns and missile launchers emerged from the Sith-infused plating across the body, providing extra firepower. Various blasters and missile launchers locked into place.
I launched into the air, soaring high above the burning capital. Interesting — nearly 89,000 Muuns and 343,000 various droids, including a large number of assassin droids. Very expensive. Oh well.
With a thought, I unleashed an unguided rocket swarm. The launchers on my shoulders and arms roared to life, sending dozens of dark-energy infused missiles streaking downward in a devastating barrage. At the same time, various heavy cannons and light guns — fueled by Wrath and crackling with dark side lightning — opened fire.
Brilliant arcs of corrupted lightning laced the rocket trails, turning the sky into a storm of destruction. Explosions bloomed across defensive positions, towers, and droid formations below. Buildings shuddered as the barrage hammered home, collapsing barricades and vaporizing clusters of battle droids.
The breaking point was here.
I dove lower, cannons thundering, lightning chaining between targets. The Dragon had arrived over Jigat — and the city would learn what it truly meant to face him.
