Chapter 784 - Chapter 752: Battle plans part 2

**Chapter 752: The Mygeeto Gambit**

**Scene 1: Jedi High Council Chambers, Coruscant**

The circular Council chamber was filled with a tense, expectant silence. Sunlight streamed through the tall windows, illuminating the faces of the Masters. Dagon Marek stood at the center, durasteel mask in place, his posture radiating controlled authority. The scars from Alsakan still ached beneath his robes, but the bacta injections and the girls' combined healing had done their work.

"So the Sith grew desperate," Dagon began, voice distorted but steady. "They threw their most powerful trump card at us — Crimson-71. It didn't last long. Only a day. But now we have a new problem."

He activated a small holoprojector, displaying casualty reports and reconstruction efforts on Alsakan.

"The attack seems to have been a diversion," he continued. "A way for Dooku and the corporations actually funding the CIS fleet to begin strip-mining and rapid factory construction on the senators' worlds. We basically destroyed the last major Geonosian droid workshops on Geonosis — thank you, Master Skywalker, for those raids."

Anakin inclined his head, though his expression remained grim.

Dagon deactivated the projector. "Now, back to the real issue. Alsakan has officially pledged eternal servitude to the Jedi Order and myself personally. It's rare — it hasn't been done in living memory. But since the last Alsakan Conflict was over three thousand years ago… what are your opinions?"

Master Hiram spoke first, voice measured. "It's more trouble than it's worth. Yes, you saved them. But their fleet leaves much to be desired, and while their armies are large — on par with Corellia and Kuat — they are under-equipped and doctrinally outdated."

Cin Drallig countered, "They do have three Mandator I-class dreadnoughts they purchased from Kuat in orbit for planetary defense, plus many older battleships and heavy cruisers. Very large vessels."

Nhon Artu grunted. "Yeah, but old. Those ships were built over four thousand years ago. Sure, they're maintained, but I've been there. They're relics."

Aayla Secura leaned forward. "We have experience with that. The Invincible-class heavy cruiser is also an old design, yet it has become one of our most reliable and battle-tested warships."

Obi-Wan Kenobi stroked his beard thoughtfully. "Ultimately, this may cause long-term problems with Corellia and Kuat. With Alsakan now rejoining the military sphere in such a dramatic fashion, we could face renewed tensions among the Core Worlds."

Anakin frowned. "Why Kuat? I understand Corellia with their pirate raiders, but not Kuat."

Dagon allowed a small, tired smile beneath the mask. "There is still the matter of the bet between Kuat and myself on the shipbuilding competition. How is that coming along, anyway?"

Obi-Wan raised an eyebrow. "Very well, from what I hear. But that's a conversation for another day."

Dagon gestured, and a large galactic map materialized above the central holotable. "I think I know a way to force the CIS to launch their offensive early — but on *our* terms."

**Scene 2: Strategic Analysis**

The map zoomed in on key sectors. Dagon highlighted several systems with glowing indicators.

"The 8th Sector — Bright Jewel. Mygeeto, where our previous campaign failed. And the 20th Sector — Yag'Dhul shipyards. Those are the most likely launch points for their *Spear of Light* offensive."

He let the silence settle before continuing.

"In one week's time, I will begin the campaign for Mygeeto. The purpose is not to fully take and hold the planet — though we will seize what we can. The goal is to play on the vanity of the CIS, particularly the Muuns. They would never willingly sacrifice Mygeeto — it is the financial heart of their war machine, the vault of the Banking Clan."

Cin Drallig's eyes narrowed. "You want to provoke them into an early offensive?"

"Exactly," Dagon confirmed. "We hit Mygeeto hard enough to threaten their reserves and prestige. The Muuns will scream for protection. Dooku will be forced to divert resources or launch *Spear of Light* sooner than planned — before their Hapan and Mon Cala reinforcements are fully integrated, and before they can properly stockpile for a prolonged Core assault. We dictate the timeline. We choose the battlefield."

Obi-Wan looked concerned. "It's a dangerous gamble. If they call your bluff and reinforce Mygeeto heavily…"

"Then we bleed them there," Dagon replied coldly. "We have the *Annihilator* in reserve near Endor. The new Liberators and Devastation-class ships are coming online. Project Helldiver's first batch will be ready. And with Alsakan's pledge, we gain additional heavy cruisers and manpower."

Nhon Artu crossed his arms. "You're turning the entire war into a high-stakes provocation."

Dagon's masked gaze swept the Council. "The war was already heading there. Better we force their hand while we still hold the initiative. The girls are healed. Our alliances are strengthening. Crimson-71 bought them a day of chaos — we will turn that day into a month of preparation."

Aayla Secura smiled faintly. "Then we fight smarter, not just harder."

The meeting adjourned with reluctant but unified agreement. As the Masters filed out, Obi-Wan lingered.

"Be careful, old friend," he said quietly. "You're carrying more than just the Republic on your shoulders now."

Dagon placed a hand on Obi-Wan's shoulder. "I know. That's why I'm not carrying it alone anymore."

**Later – Grand Master's Chambers**

Dagon returned to find the women waiting. Ahsoka immediately pulled him down onto the bed, straddling his lap with a fierce kiss. Zule and Aayla joined from either side, hands roaming across his chest and back. Miaria's tail wrapped around his thigh while Atroxa and Talon pressed close, red skin contrasting beautifully with the others.

Aubrie, still shy but growing bolder, kissed his scarred cheek. "You don't have to be the Dragon every second," she whispered. "Let us help carry the weight tonight."

Dagon surrendered to their warmth and affection, the aches of the past weeks fading under their combined touch and the soothing presence of the Force bond — now fully open once more.

As the night deepened, bodies entwined and passions rose, Dagon allowed himself this one indulgence. The war would resume soon enough. Mygeeto awaited. *Spear of Light* loomed.

But here, surrounded by the women who had chosen him — scars, darkness, and all — he found strength.

The necessary monster was no longer fighting alone.
