Chapter 685 - Chapter 660 Open war part 2

**Chapter 660: Spear of Light**

**Scene 1**

**Mygeeto Orbit**

**Providence-class Dreadnought, Bounty**

**Admiral Dua Ningo POV**

The bridge of the *Bounty* hummed with quiet efficiency as Dua Ningo stood with his hands clasped behind his back, staring at the massive holographic map floating above the central holotable. Mygeeto had held. Despite losing over ninety large warships and two hundred twenty smaller frigates and support craft during the brutal defense, the Republic's assault had been repelled — or rather, the enemy force had simply… vanished. Gone dark. Disappeared along with seventy Jedi and their supporting fleet.

Dua allowed himself the smallest flicker of satisfaction. He had survived where others had not. Trench was dead. Mar Tuuk had failed at Ryloth. Now only he remained as one of the few organic admirals with consistent victories against the Republic.

Surrounding him were several dozen fleet commanders — a mix of battle-hardened Neimoidians, Gossams, and Muuns — along with thirty T-series tactical droids and twenty brand-new super-tactical droids. All listened intently as another super-tactical droid delivered the briefing in its flat, mechanical tone.

What mattered now was something far greater: meticulously planning **Operation Spear of Light**, the grand offensive that would finally crush the Republic and the Jedi.

"Our attack will be based on four fronts," the droid intoned, highlighting sections of the galactic map with crisp red lines. "The first is the Selonia, New Apsolon, and Mytaranor regions." The display zoomed in. "The target worlds will be Ambria, Onderon, Umbara, Virujansi, Zeltros, and Busterous, with a subsequent push toward Commenor. Eight thousand warships and twenty-seven billion battle droids will be allocated to this sector."

One of the organic commanders — a nervous Neimoidian supply officer — muttered under his breath, "A huge force… but how will we stand against Dagon? His fleet is known to be capable of destroying a thousand warships in a single battle."

Dua turned slowly, his eyes narrowing. "The attack force is mainly to distract and re-support our scattered worlds throughout the Core and Outer Rim. By redeploying our forces, it will buy time for the other divisions to break through."

The droid continued without pause. "The second sector is Antar. From there, we will strike at Quell and begin a push through Thalassia toward Cato Neimoidia to relieve the planet and support the attack on Commenor. We will also hit Exodeen to penetrate the middle section of the Hydian Way, cutting off Denon and securing passage to Brentaal IV. Six thousand warships and twenty-one billion battle droids."

"The third sector is Rammamul and Allanteen," the droid highlighted another cluster. "A secondary strike designed to block Republic forces in the Denon region and secure a breakthrough to Baroli and Ramordia. Four thousand warships and eleven billion battle droids."

"The fourth sector is the Fondor-Falls line — the primary strike axis. The attack will be carried out through Kendar, Balassar, and Devaron toward Duro, Nubia, and Corellia, with a further breakthrough to Coruscant itself. Nine thousand warships and thirty billion battle droids."

The chamber fell into a heavy silence as the sheer scale of the operation settled over everyone. Even Dua felt the weight of it. This was no mere raid. This was the beginning of the endgame.

**Scene 2**

**Mygeeto Orbit**

**Providence-class Dreadnought, Bounty**

**Dua Ningo POV**

Once the briefing concluded, Dua moved to his private command alcove and activated a secure hologram. Count Dooku's image appeared almost immediately, regal and cold as ever.

"The orders are ready," Dua reported. "In three days, when the attack begins, I will send the signal for Selena to strike Selonia. The new communications systems installed on our ships will allow us to respond instantly the moment Dagon engages any of the attack groups."

Dooku nodded. "How goes the work on the other project at the Foerost shipyards?"

"Progress is slow," Dua admitted. "Mainly because our primary supplies still come from Geonosis, and there have been… delays. The droids keep responding with 'it will be ready soon enough.'"

"Interesting," Dooku murmured, his expression darkening. "Keep me updated. But keep your fleet in the rear. Should Selena run into trouble, you will be needed to rescue her. It is imperative that the *Malice* survives."

"I understand, my lord," Dua replied, bowing slightly. "I will not fail."

The hologram faded. Dua stood alone for a moment, staring out at the icy expanse of Mygeeto below. He had survived where so many others had fallen. Now he would lead the greatest offensive the Confederacy had ever launched.

And if Dagon Marek stood in his way… then the so-called Demon of the Shield would finally meet his end.
