Chapter 66 - Unexpected Guests

Chapter 40: Unexpected Guests

Olga Marie stood by the window. Deeply feeling that the situation was already beyond salvation, she prepared to blow up the world and restart it before ORT could.

Magical energy gathered and compressed in her palm, forming a fist-sized white sphere of light with countless starlights swirling inside. Unstable electrical arcs danced across the surface of the sphere, emitting a low hum, like a forcefully suppressed supernova.

Just as she was about to throw this sphere of light—which was capable of blowing up the entire planet—a rift suddenly tore open in the sky above.

Olga Marie looked up, the rift reflecting in her amber eyes.

Unstable silver-blue light flickered around the edges of the rift. Its interior was a bottomless darkness, and something was falling out of it—or rather, being thrown out.

"Ahhhhhh—!"

Two figures, one after the other, tumbled through the air as they fell.

The orange-haired girl in front flailed her arms wildly, trying to grab onto some nonexistent lifeline, her facial expression twisted into an exaggerated look of 'I'm going to die, I'm going to die, I'm going to die'.

The pink-haired girl behind her tightly clutched the Large Cross Shield in her arms, her body pulled completely straight from the high-speed descent.

Olga Marie narrowed her eyes.

"Fujimaru Ritsuka? Mash Kyrielight?"

"These two..."

A dozen question marks instantly flashed through Olga Marie's mind. Dozens of possibilities flashed through her head, only to be rejected one by one.

It didn't make sense.

Why were they here?

The coordinates of this world did not overlap with the FGO worldline at all; they were two completely unrelated parallel lines. Theoretically, even if the people of Chaldea performed a Rayshift, it was absolutely impossible for them to jump to this world.

The probability of Fujimaru Ritsuka and Mash appearing here was even lower than the probability of her suddenly deciding to give up ruling Earth and going home to farm.

Unless...

Some bridge she didn't know about had been built.

And it just had to be at this moment, dropping down right when she was preparing to blow up the world and restart?

Olga Marie clicked her tongue, her expression screaming 'what a pain'.

But her hands didn't stop moving.

Right at the moment Fujimaru Ritsuka and Mash were about to land face-first, Olga Marie raised her left hand, gently supporting them in the air with her five fingers.

"Hum."

An invisible magical force field opened up, gently catching the two falling girls. Their downward kinetic energy was absorbed and dissipated layer by layer by the force field, eventually reaching zero.

"...Eh?"

Fujimaru Ritsuka cautiously opened one eye, looked left and right, and then looked down at her feet.

She was at least ten meters above the ground, suspended in mid-air. She hadn't fallen.

She looked up again, towards Olga Marie inside the window.

Their eyes met.

Fujimaru Ritsuka's expression went from blank to confused, from confused to shocked, and from shocked to 'am I seeing things'.

Her lips moved:

"...Di-Director?"

Beside her, Mash finally came back to her senses. She lowered her shield, looked into the window, and her purple pupils suddenly shrank.

"Director Olga Marie...? Why are you..."

"Hah?"

Olga Marie ignored their shock and raised her chin.

"Who gave you permission to attach that kind of title to me on your own?"

Her gaze swept over the two of them.

"Furthermore—"

The disgust in her tone was practically overflowing.

"Did your Chaldea go bankrupt? You can't even afford a decent combat uniform? Look at how torn up your uniforms are!"

Fujimaru Ritsuka looked down at her uniform.

The cuffs were frayed, the hem was torn open, and there was an obvious burn mark on her left shoulder, its edges still smoking.

"...It got scraped while we were crossing the world rift just now," she defended in a small voice.

"That just proves your technology is lacking," Olga Marie said mercilessly. "You can't even build a stable teleportation channel, and you still have the nerve to call yourselves an organization that saves Human Order? Looks more like an organization that creates Human Order crises to me."

Fujimaru Ritsuka: "..."

Mash: "..."

The two exchanged a glance.

'Alright, confirmed, it's the President.'

Olga Marie's gaze bypassed them, looking out the window towards the distant horizon.

Over there, ORT's figure was rapidly enlarging, and its silver-blue light had already dyed half the sky.

The Crystal Valley's domain was expanding. Wherever it passed, the atmosphere crystallized, the clouds solidified into dazzling crystals, and then tiny, branching light bodies grew out from within.

They materialized out of thin air from the Void, rapidly spreading, connecting, and constructing to form a massive structure akin to a forest.

Centered around ORT, it spread radially in all directions like a silent, gorgeous plague.

"Tch."

Olga Marie clicked her tongue again, the irritation in her voice even more obvious this time.

"It's endless."

"One after another, you all sure know how to pick the perfect time."

She retracted the magical energy supporting Fujimaru Ritsuka and Mash, and the two dropped onto the air conditioner unit outside the window with a thump.

Fortunately, it wasn't a high drop; they were just a bit dazed from the fall.

Olga Marie didn't pay them any mind.

She raised her hands, palms facing each other, and slowly pulled them apart in front of her chest.

Two streams of light separated from inside her body.

One was an aquatic blue, the other a fiery red.

The streams of light twisted, stretched, and condensed in the air, finally stabilizing into two humanoid figures.

They had similar faces to Olga Marie, similar builds, and even their massive horns were exactly the same.

Only the colors of their outfits were entirely different.

The aquatic blue one had a gradient ice-blue at the tips of her hair, transitioning from deep blue to light blue at the ends, like a frozen waterfall.

She wore a tight-fitting aquatic blue bodysuit covered in a texture resembling fish scales, gleaming with a moist luster under the light. Her pupils were a deep ocean blue, her gaze as calm as a windless lake.

The fiery red one had burning crimson long hair, with illusory flames dancing at the tips.

Her tight-fitting bodysuit was a blazing red, its surface flowing with magma-like patterns, its temperature so high that the surrounding air slightly distorted. Her pupils were an orange-red like molten gold, an undisguised fighting spirit dancing in her eyes.

These were Olga Marie of Water and Olga Marie of Fire, formed from Olga Marie's Saint Graph with properties similar to Alteregos, having inherited portions of her personality and traits.

The two landed, standing on Olga Marie's left and right sides respectively.

"Main body," the aquatic blue one spoke up. "Do you want us to hold it off?"

"Yeah." Olga Marie nodded. "Hold it off for as long as you can."

"Understood." The fiery red one grinned, her smile so arrogant it looked ready to burn through the sky. "My hands were just getting itchy. I'll use it to stretch my bones!"

The two turned around simultaneously, their toes tapping the ground.

"Swish—!"

The water clone's toes lightly tapped, and her body transformed into an azure stream of light, darting out the window. Wherever she passed, the moisture in the air instantly condensed, dragging out a long, thin trail behind her.

The fire clone was much more direct. She laughed heartily and stomped her feet hard on the ground.

"Boom!"

A charred depression was stomped into the floor of the room as she crashed through the window like a cannonball and charged into the night sky. The crimson tail flames dragged out for dozens of meters behind her, like an inverse shooting star.

Almost simultaneously—

The distant sky outside the window suddenly changed.

First came the sea.

Endless seawater materialized out of thin air, converging in the night sky into a massive wave over a kilometer in diameter.

The height of the wave was still climbing, settling at a terrifying altitude. Like a wall of water connecting heaven and earth, it viciously crashed down towards ORT's direction.

"Crash—!!!"

The loud boom of the crashing wave was clearly audible even from dozens of kilometers away.

Next came the fire.

The sky ignited.

The oxygen in the atmosphere was forcefully ionized and ignited, transforming into a sea of red-gold flames that covered the entire field of vision.

The sea of fire surged, rolling up waves of fire hundreds of meters high. The fire waves twisted and condensed in the air, forming giant fireballs over a hundred meters in diameter.

Magma-like patterns flowed over the surface of those fireballs, and their cores were blindingly bright, like miniature suns.

They hovered in the night sky, slowly rotating—hundreds and thousands of suns, dragging red-gold tail flames as they plummeted toward ORT's direction.

The trajectory of each one was precisely calculated, sealing off all angles of evasion and forming a flawless, saturated bombardment with no blind spots.

"Boom—!!!"

The ocean wave and the rain of fire hit simultaneously.

The light of the explosion dyed the night sky as bright as day, and the shockwave turned into a visible ring-shaped air blast that spread in all directions. The distant mountains trembled, and buildings crackled and shattered all over the ground.

Answering them were ORT's terrifying cosmic storms and attacks, tangling the three figures into a chaotic brawl for a time.

At the same time, it brought immense shock to the world.
