"Yes ma'am," She says and nods at me, a smile curling her lips, "I would lie if I said I wasn't curious about why you did that ma'am, but it's okay, I don't judge you in the slightest," She says. Raising me up and sitting me on the bed where she sits beside me, she's so close I can catch the whiff of her cinnamon scented perfume.
She takes my hand and places it on her lap, "it's okay ma'am, I won't tell your husbands, you'll have to do that yourself," She says and my heart sinks further to my stomach.
"Please ma'am, can't you tell them the baby died or something," I suggest.
She shakes her head, "that would crush them, you can't be selfish ma'am, you have to come clean, you can't make them worry about you for nothing," She completes.
"I wish it was that easy ma'am, let me get pregnant ma'am, can you shield me then, if I promise to get pregnant," I ask.
