"What are you doing here " Ramses thick guttural voice snaps me out of my stillness. My hands are shaking beside me, how am I supposed to explain to my beast husband that an invincible system had given me a mission to do so I would stay alive.
"Erm, Erm, Erm," I mumble like an idiot. I can't see anything , I can only hear his voice and somehow this is all still creepy . I can hear a sudden sound in the room and suddenly a light comes on and the grand room is flooded with light.
Ramses is sitting on the grey love seat adjacent the bed, his green brows are raised in inquisition at me. And I'm fumbling with my hands like it holds all the answers.
"Answer me " He yells and I jump on the spot, my heart hammering against my ribs like a caught bird. Ramses has always struck me as authoritative but right now he was simply scary like I had done more than just wake up beside him and my mates.
