Chapter 487 - Until the Very End

In Zhao Chen's hand, the Divine Power of the Law of Fire directly condensed. The flames surged and rose in his palm, as if they could burn everything. A layer of fiery red armor also emerged on his body; this was Zhao Chen's Six-Word Battle Armor.

Immediately afterward, two sharp claw weapons appeared on his hands. A terrifying aura emanated from the claws, which were impressively at the level of pseudo-transcendent Divine Artifacts.

Tang San's face turned incredibly grim upon seeing this.

He looked around; those who used to stand by his side now chose to watch from the sidelines one by one.

Changgong Wei had backed away, the Shrek Seven Devils were held back, and the God of Destruction had even directly handed himself over to the other party's mercy...

An indescribable grief, indignation, and despair surged in Tang San's heart.

But he had no way back.

With a flash of light in his palm, the Sea God Trident appeared in his hand.

The transcendent Divine Artifact radiated a deep blue light, resonating with the Sea God Divine Power inside Tang San.

He gripped the trident tightly and charged toward Zhao Chen, the two figures colliding within that isolated arena.

At that moment, the powers of fire and water erupted in a violent roar, but the gap between the two sides was fully exposed.

Facing Zhao Chen's attacks, Tang San seemed utterly powerless. In just three rounds, Tang San was sent flying, crashing heavily against the edge of the arena and spitting out a mouthful of blood.

Standing outside the arena, Xiao Wu felt her heart ache terribly at the sight. Her eyes quickly fell upon Wang Dong'er, and she pleaded directly.

"Xiao Qi! He is your father! Are you really going to just watch him... Please, persuade them!"

But Wang Dong'er just stood there coldly, her pink-blue eyes devoid of any warmth, completely turning a deaf ear to Xiao Wu's words.

Meanwhile, Ma Hongjun could no longer hold back. Gritting his teeth, he turned to look at Dai Mubai.

"Boss Dai! Let's make a move together to help Third Brother! We can't let this go on!"

Hearing this, Dai Mubai also nodded vigorously. Just as the two of them were about to move, a cold, chilling light suddenly flashed from the side.

Seele's figure appeared before them like a phantom, the scythe in her hand drawing two sharp arcs of light.

Before Ma Hongjun and Dai Mubai could even react, their bodies suddenly stiffened, and they collapsed to the ground, completely devoid of any signs of life.

Two Second-Class Gods were actually disposed of just like that.

Seeing this, the gods couldn't help but be completely stunned.

Within the range covered by the battle flag, Zhao Chen did not hesitate in the slightest. Seizing the moment Tang San was sent flying, he instantly caught up, his claws directly piercing through Tang San's chest.

Tang San's movements suddenly stiffened, and the light in his eyes rapidly faded.

Seeing this, Xiao Wu let out a desperate cry.

"Third Brother!"

But before her voice could fully fade, a strange light suddenly rippled over Tang San's corpse.

The light quickly flowed and covered his entire body, and then... he actually opened his eyes once again.

His face was as pale as paper, and his entire state looked highly abnormal.

Yet, Tang San had indeed resurrected.

The gods couldn't help but be dumbfounded. What kind of method was this?

And... this was not the end.

In the time that followed, Tang San experienced death in various ways. Someone pierced his heart with a sword, someone burned him to ashes with fire, someone froze him into fragments with ice... After every death, he would resurrect again, only to be killed once more.

When it was Ning Tian's turn to act, a cold smile played at the corner of her lips.

She directly used her methods to transform Tang San from male to female, and then had the Holy Light Spirit Deer strike, directly killing the now-female Tang San.

After doing all this, Ning Tian simply left behind a cold remark.

"Arbitrarily deciding other people's gender... is it very fun?"

Throughout the entire process, Tang San's consciousness remained completely awake.

He felt the pain of every death, and the weakness and confusion after each resurrection.

That kind of torture was like death by a thousand cuts, causing his spirit to be constantly torn apart and reassembled, yet he simply could not find ultimate release.

Then Wang Dong'er stepped forward. Holding the Golden Dragon Spear in her hand, she said nothing unnecessary, simply and cleanly driving the spearhead into Tang San's chest.

After several more deaths, Huo Yuhao then stepped forward.

He looked at the man before him who had potentially manipulated his entire life, but there was not much emotion left in his deep blue eyes.

After experiencing multiple layers of pain, Tang San was in extreme agony, yet his consciousness remained incredibly clear.

Looking at Huo Yuhao in front of him, whose face gradually overlapped with the one in his memories, he subconsciously spoke.

"Dai Yuhao... you..."

Before he could finish, Huo Yuhao couldn't help but frown.

He gave Tang San no chance to continue speaking. With a flash of light from the Eternal Eye, Tang San once again felt the stacked pain of dozens of deaths, before waking up yet again.

Finally, Tang Wulin stepped forward. He looked at Tang San, his eyes casting a faint glance at him.

"This is the last time. Sea God, please meet your death."

The Dragon God Spear in his hand thrust out violently, the spearhead piercing through Tang San's chest as its nine-colored light completely annihilated his final trace of life.

Tang San's body turned into a shower of light specks, dissipating into the air.

Seeing this, the gods were all shocked speechless. What kind of ability was this, to be able to resurrect Tang San—who was almost at the God King Realm—so many times?

Having resolved everything, everyone returned to Shrek Academy through the opening one after another.

Some time after returning to the academy, Huo Yuhao and the others also discovered that their Realms had reached a critical threshold.

To take another step forward would likely require a vast amount of time and accumulation.

No one was in a hurry, and they all threw themselves into teaching, while Shrek Academy also began a large-scale recruitment of students.

Of course, recruitment was accompanied by strict screening; only those who passed could enter Shrek Academy, still requiring only good character and perseverance.

Then, one day, Lin Feng suddenly appeared before everyone.

His face still wore that gentle and calm smile as he casually said,

"Shrek Academy... I leave it in your hands."

Hearing this, everyone looked at Lin Feng in confusion.

Lin Feng smiled and continued,

"Seeing you all grow to this point, I am quite satisfied."

"However, the future that belongs to you does not stop here. Your lives will also be even more splendid."

Huo Yuhao was the first to ask, a hint of reluctance in his voice.

"Principal... are you planning to leave this place?"

Everyone was extremely grateful to Lin Feng; if not for him, they wouldn't have had the ability to control their own destinies at all.

It was he who had given them a brand-new starting point, a completely different life.

Lin Feng smiled faintly, a strange light appearing in his eyes.

"Me... I've had enough fun in this World too."

"It's time to leave."

He paused, then swept his gaze over everyone present, speaking to them with some solemnity.

"However, you must remember: do not forget your original aspiration, and do not become the kind of person you once hated."

"Protect everything you have now well, and protect Shrek Academy."

Hearing this, everyone nodded vigorously.

Seeing their reaction, Lin Feng smiled again and said,

"Well then, until we meet again."

The moment his words fell, he suddenly vanished.

Looking at the spot where Lin Feng had disappeared, everyone said in unison,

"We respectfully bid farewell to the Principal."

An unknown amount of time passed once again.

In a certain plane, a town had turned into ruins. Houses had collapsed, flames burned, and corpses and blood were everywhere.

A child curled up under a broken bed, trembling all over, eyes filled with terror and rage.

He had watched with his own eyes as his parents and older sister fell into pools of blood one after another.

But he did not have the strength for revenge. He could do nothing, only helplessly calling out for his father, mother, and sister, but the only response he received was a scene of dead silence.

Just at this moment, a figure appeared before the child.

The newcomer had blue hair and deep blue eyes. He bent down and looked at the child with a gentle gaze.

"Do you want revenge?"

The child raised his head, looked at this stranger who nevertheless felt very familiar, and nodded vigorously.

The man smiled, then stretched out his hand.

"Then come with me. I will teach you to become strong."

For some reason, the boy felt an inexplicable trust in the man before him. After a moment of hesitation, he slowly reached out his small hand and asked,

"Who... who are you?"

The man held the boy's hand and answered gently,

"My name is Huo Yuhao, and I am a teacher at Shrek Academy."

Huo Yuhao helped the boy bury everyone there, then said to him,

"I will help you resurrect the people you care about, but it will take some time."

"I have experienced your pain, so I don't want anyone else to experience this kind of pain either."

"However... if you do not become strong, what happened today might happen again."

"So, work hard to become strong."

Hearing this, a light couldn't help but light up in the boy's eyes. He could resurrect his family?

Then, he thought of what Huo Yuhao had said. He was right; the fact that this had happened today was entirely due to his own lack of ability. He had to become strong!

The boy nodded, then left with Huo Yuhao.

(The End)
