Lyra sat curled up on her couch, her silken robe draped over her shoulders, nursing a steaming cup of coffee. Across the room, John paced with the energy of a man who had something important to say.
"You've been too relaxed lately," John said, arching a brow. "Not that I'm complaining, but something tells me you're slacking."
Lyra rolled her eyes, taking a long sip of her coffee. "I'm not slacking, John. I'm... observing."
"Observing what exactly? The inside of your eyelids?"
She shot him a playful glare. "What do you want, old man? You're blocking my peace."
John smirked, reaching for the remote on the table. "Trust me, you'll want to see this."
"Hey, I was watching something!" Lyra protested, but John ignored her, navigating to a prominent news channel.
"Trust me," he said, his voice brimming with intrigue. "This is worth your time."
