Theon deepened the kiss further, his warm hands sliding smoothly under her thighs to lift her off her feet. Azaria gasped softly at the sudden elevation, wrapping her legs tightly around his waist while her arms locked securely around his neck. She had no time to process the sudden move or react any further because his lips were back on hers again, kissing her with enough hungering passion that sent a wave of warmth straight down to her toes.
He turned on his heel, carrying her with ease as he moved out of the entryway and headed toward the staircase. As he reached the bottom step, he heard Wolf trotting right behind them, eager to follow them up. Theon quickly turned his head, flashing a silent glare at the dog. Wolf caught the warning, whined softly, and quickly turned around to rush back into the safety of the living room. Satisfied, Theon turned back to the stairs, carrying Azaria up the steps without breaking their stride, his mouth never leaving hers.
