After posting her message, Faye Yardley didn't bother checking for reactions. She pulled out a large stainless steel bucket, grabbed it, and hopped off the raft. Simultaneously, with a SNAP, she opened an umbrella.
She instructed the others to pour all the rainwater they had collected into it.
The already pitted surface of the ice was now coated in a colorful sheen. Faye extended her right hand from beneath the umbrella, letting the rain fall directly into her palm. The fine, misty drizzle quickly coated her hand, but it didn't affect her in the slightest.
Once the bucket was a quarter full, Faye thought for a moment and tossed in a few ice cubes. Then, she took out a Magic Seed and dropped it right in.
Sure enough, in this unscientific world, there were no scientific laws to speak of. The Magic Seed actually began to sprout and take root rapidly.
