Faye Yardley sent the message and didn't bother waiting for a reaction. She took out a large stainless steel bucket, jumped off the raft with it, and with a SNAP, opened an umbrella.
She had the others pour all the rainwater they had collected into this large bucket.
The already pitted and uneven ice surface now had an added layer of color.
Faye Yardley extended her right hand from under the umbrella, letting the rain fall directly into her palm. The fine, hair-like drizzle soon enveloped her right hand, but it had no effect on her.
After the bucket was about a quarter full of water, Faye Yardley thought for a moment, tossed in a few ice chunks, then took out a Magic Seed and dropped it right in.
Sure enough, in a world that defied science, there were no scientific laws to speak of. The Magic Seed actually began to sprout and take root almost immediately.
