The cemetery.
Holly Wyatt held two bouquets of chrysanthemums, her eyes lowered to the new gravestones.
Gina Gable stood by her side, quietly holding two sets of offerings.
Holly looked at the names carved on the headstones—Julian Fletcher and Penelope Hayes.
Her gaze then fell to the name of the person who had erected them—Nathan Fletcher.
A flicker of emotion crossed her eyes, but she said nothing, placing one bouquet in front of each of the two adjacent gravestones.
Gina also set down the items she was holding and stepped back, intending to give Holly some space.
Unexpectedly, Holly stood up and said simply, "Let's go. We should get something to eat."
Gina froze for a moment before catching up to her. "Aren't you going to say anything to them?"
"No. I have nothing to say to them."
"Then why did you come?"
"Just to see. After all, they're dead. This is the first and last time I'll ever seek them out."
Gina fell silent.
