Vettel's out-lap didn't seem particularly fast. Instead, the two Big Red Bulls got tangled up again. This scene looked awfully familiar! But this time, a chunk of Ricciardo's front wing was completely knocked off.
Carrying a damaged front wing, Ricciardo was successively overtaken by Little Red Bull's Verstappen and his own teammate Kvyat. Following that, even Brother Tou, driving the car with the "GP2 engine," passed him.
On the next lap, unable to hold on any longer, Ricciardo had no choice but to pit.
After his out-lap, Vettel began to constantly set new fastest lap times. He was a full two seconds faster than Rosberg in a single lap!
When informed of this gap by the team, Rosberg's pressure instantly exploded. Before he could catch up to Wu Shi, he had to face the pursuit of the Four-Time Champion behind him! Rosberg immediately asked his team, "Tell me the details about the situation between me and Vettel."
He was seeking the team's help.
