The first level of the Pre-Qin Secret Realm now lay revealed before Xiao Jing's eyes.
Unlike the narrow passageway, the area was vast. It was large enough to hold tens of thousands of people, more than enough for Xiao Jing's army.
Flanking the center were Soldier Terracotta Warriors with their eyes closed. Below them stood neat ranks of suffering conscript soldiers, their faces etched with grief.
In the very center of the cavern stood an exceptionally tall, square-shaped altar. Below it was a three-tiered dais, with each tier standing about five feet high and adorned with several towering stone pillars.
The stone pillars were exquisitely carved with images of soaring dragons, dancing phoenixes, and nine coiling dragons.
One of the three stone tiers was carved with the rise of the state of Qin, from the Shang and Zhou dynasties to the end of the Qin. Another depicted a grand map of the empire's rivers and mountains.
