At this point in his story, Lloyd set down his knife and fork, having just finished his lunch.
Across from him, Elolo patted her chest repeatedly and let out a long sigh of relief.
"Phew… That scared me to death! I almost thought they were both killed…"
Lloyd just smiled without saying a word.
A look of longing then appeared on Elolo's face, and she whispered softly,
"I want to be the happiest girl in the world, too…"
Lloyd pretended not to hear and changed the subject.
"Alright, now that we've eaten, shall we go check out the aquarium nearby?"
"Okay! Wherever you want to go, Lord Uther, I'll go with you."
Elolo smiled sweetly again.
And so, the two of them made their way from the aquarium to the shopping district. After buying a few souvenirs that caught Elolo's eye, they ended up at the top of an ancient clock tower.
