Jenkins was a Tier Five Powerhouse, after all, not to mention a famous archaeologist. It didn't surprise Lloyd that he had some method of instant communication.
What did surprise Lloyd, however, was the speed of his reply. Less than two minutes after Balderes sent the note, another one was spat out from the spatial fissure, which had yet to disappear.
Only a single line was written on it:
"Is something wrong?"
Balderes's note had only asked for Elolo's address, but Old Zhan was no fool and immediately guessed something was wrong.
Balderes showed Jenkins's reply to Lloyd, asking for his input.
Lloyd, naturally hoping Old Zhan would join the rescue, nodded and added,
"I also hope to make the acquaintance of this 'Black Soldier.'"
Balderes now knew how to reply. He scribbled furiously in his notebook, first briefly introducing his new friend, the 'Black Knight,' and then mentioning that the 'White Bishop' was being abused by her father and needed help.
