After ordering the grilled skewers,
Lin Yi also ordered a case of beer.
"Chief, we're still on duty. Is it really okay to drink?"
Wei Shang asked with a frown.
The Town Martial Department had a rule against drinking during work hours.
Lin Yi smiled and looked at them.
"We're not in the New District now, so there aren't as many rules!"
"Besides, getting a little tipsy is harmless fun!"
"We haven't had a proper break since we got here!"
"Think of having a couple of drinks as a way to relax!"
"Once everything here is taken care of, I'll treat you all to a great meal when we get back to the New District!"
After Lin Yi finished speaking,
Wei Nan also nodded with a smile. "The Lord General has spoken. What are you guys still thinking about?"
"Let's eat and drink up! The Lord General is paying for everything tonight!"
After he said this,
Wei Shang and Feng Lei exchanged a glance.
They cast aside their worries and nodded.
