Lin Mo glanced at Feney, then at Shefilya. It occurred to him that Feney still didn't seem to know what was going on between him and Shefilya. After all, their past interactions had always happened while Feney was at work (at the Church).
Feney didn't even know that her own mother had already "sold" her off, arranging the most important matter of her life on her behalf.
Shefilya remained expressionless, but this time it clearly wasn't out of composure. She was simply frozen by the awkwardness.
