Although they had successfully repelled the Goblins—with Lin Mo even managing to kill a Silver Goblin—Silver Stream City's overall losses were still substantial. The Goblins' losses, on the other hand, aside from that one Silver Goblin, were largely within an acceptable range.
If the war had continued and the Goblins had launched a second attack, Silver Stream City's situation would have become even more dire.
