A smile sparkled in Seraphina Ashworth's clear eyes. "Caden, they left you out completely."
Caden Reginald didn't seem to mind, resting his chin on her shoulder. "If I'm left out, you won't be getting any money!"
'Well, he does have a point!' A slight smile touched Seraphina Ashworth's lips.
"Oh, right, I forgot something!" Suddenly remembering, Seraphina Ashworth got up from Caden Reginald, ran to the TV stand, and grabbed her phone.
She came back, pulled Caden Reginald over to the divan by the French windows, and they snuggled together. She plugged her headphones into her phone, gave one earbud to him and took the other, and immediately started a video call with Abigail Ashworth.
