Maurice Ashworth and Victor Ashworth were howling, practically doubled over with laughter, which made Jasper Ashworth look like he was about to blow a fuse.
"Maurice, the string lights and window decorations have been delivered. You guys can get to work now," Cecilia Ashworth said, hanging up and waving her phone at her brothers.
"Let's go. Don't even think about slacking off." Maurice Ashworth and Victor Ashworth nabbed Jasper Ashworth as he tried to slip away and dragged him right outside.
"Oh, the heavens! Save me!" Jasper Ashworth wailed, his head thrown back as his voice faded into the distance.
"I'm going to go change, and then I'll be back," Seraphina Ashworth said, clutching an armful of clothes.
"Okay," Sylvia Blaine said, straightening the clothes on the sofa.
Miss Ashworth picked up her and Mr. Ashworth's clothes. "Let's take these back to our rooms first, then we can come down for the big cleaning. Your father and the others will be back soon."
