As soon as she entered the living room, she saw an evening gown lying on the sofa. It was made of high-end organza in a pale lilac color and looked like a piece from a luxury brand.
Vivian's eyes immediately lit up.
She kicked off her high heels and joyfully threw herself at Tristan Sherwood. "Darling, I knew you cared about me! You even bought me a gown. What time are we leaving for the banquet?"
She clung to him, her pungent perfume forcing him to hold his breath.
