A young man sat shivering on a burlap sack, his terrified eyes fixed on the four burly men before him.
The men wore tight tank tops, their arms covered in menacing tattoos.
Four pairs of eyes looked down on him, their mocking gazes filled with malice.
Carter Lyndon couldn't help but shiver.
But the thought that he had a tracker on him gave him a surge of confidence. He stiffened his neck. "Do you have any idea who I am? How dare you kidnap me? What do you want?"
He wondered to himself. 'I just got to Stellan a few days ago, and I haven't made any enemies. Is there really a reason to kidnap me and drag me to some rundown warehouse?'
'Could it be an enemy from Valerium?'
'In that case, it's not my fault.'
'My dad must have offended someone, and now they're taking it out on me.'
'Sigh, it's tough being his son!'
The four men closed in on him, letting out sinister cackles.
