It was a time-honored tradition in the Cosmos Sect that anyone who could retrieve the Cosmos Sword from within the Cosmic Formation would be allowed to participate in the competition, regardless of their status. Therefore, Jared Rhodes, the Clan Chief and Sect Leader, had no objections. He announced directly to the crowd, "Rhys Rhodes has successfully passed through the formation. He is hereby granted special permission to participate in tomorrow's Sword Control Conference."
As for anything else, Jared Rhodes asked no questions.
The other Four Great Venerable Masters and six Venerable Masters present also said nothing about Rhys Rhodes successfully passing through the formation. This was the rule of the Cosmos Sect: as long as a non-disciple could emerge from the array alive and present the Cosmos Sword, they could participate. The Cosmos Sect would have no objections to such a challenger.
